jiuzhutang originated in Anji, Zhejiang province, the capital of China. it is said that in 113, the national hero yue Fei fought against Jin Wushu in Anji area, and the two armies confronted each other. the elite cavalry of Jin Wushu, the iron pagoda and the kidnapper horse, were like an iron wall, and everywhere they stepped, there was a cry. The old man smiled without a word, pointed to the front and said, this is called "looking at the moon with nine bamboos", and the mystery is among them. Yue Fei studied it carefully, only to see a crescent moon looming in the bamboo shoot, like a sickle. If he hooked a sword, Yue Fei suddenly realized, smiled with joy and woke up suddenly. It turned out to be a dream. Yue Fei sent people to build weapons overnight: a long bamboo pole was tied with a sickle, so that soldiers could practice the method of cracking the cavalry of the Golden Wushu, and then improved it to become a hook-and-sickle gun: stabbing the enemy at the top and hooking the horse's leg at the bottom. A few days later, in a big battle, Yue Jiajun used a hook and sickle gun to break the "Kidnapper Horse" array of Jin Wushu, and pursued it all the way, killing Jin Jun all over the place and abandoning his armor like a mountain.

Yue Fei felt grateful for the teaching of "Nine Bamboo Buddhists" and ordered people to build a "Nine Bamboo Hall" in the depths of the bamboo sea as a memorial. The story of Yue Fei's resistance to gold was widely spread in Anji, and there is still a scenic spot of "Nine Bamboo Watching the Moon" in Dazhuhai Scenic Resort, China. So far, "Nine Bamboo Hall" has become a local word-of-mouth story, adding a spiritual belief to the long history of the Chinese nation's resistance to foreign invasion.
