IFS standard for IFS certification
IFS (International Food Standards) was formulated by the German Trade Federation to ensure a set of transparent and complete standards when auditing food suppliers. The purpose of IFS is to establish a unified standard that can audit suppliers in the whole food supply chain.

IFS: International Food Supplier Standard, an international food supplier standard, is a quality system audit standard formulated by German and French food retailers for food suppliers. It was issued to the world by the German Federation of Trade Institutions on 200 1 and was generally accepted by German and French retailers. This standard is influential in European countries such as Germany and France, and IFS is also one of the quality system standards recognized by the International Federation of Food Retailers.

IFS is arranged in the program-oriented mode of ISO 9000: 2000 standard, covering HACCP, quality management department, product control, process control, factory environment and personnel. As long as suppliers successfully obtain IFS certification, they can increase export opportunities, reduce the cost of multiple audits, gain the trust of major European retailers, be accepted by consumers, and reduce the risk of food crisis.
