1. The origin of tailor-made cashmere sweaters.

Since the 1990s, with the improvement of people's living standards, cashmere products with soft, waxy and smooth feel and excellent thermal insulation properties have gradually entered the lives of ordinary people. However, the high price of cashmere products has increasingly become a bottleneck hindering the continued popularity of cashmere sweaters. As a result, a brand-new marketing model slowly appeared in developed coastal areas: that is, breaking away from the original large shopping malls and big brands used to sell cashmere sweaters, and instead using high-quality cashmere yarn, using individual dispersed methods, and renting simple stores A small roadside shop - a factory in the front and a factory in the back - is equipped with several flat knitting machines and operates a tailor-made cashmere sweater business for one person or three or five people. Each customer can choose the color, style and tailor-made clothes. This business method has the following benefits:

1. Save a lot of circulation and shopping mall costs (accounting for more than 50% of the total price of cashmere sweaters);

2. Completely ditching inventory. Everyone knows that cashmere sweaters are fashionable products. Once the sales season is over, the clothing in stock will be discounted at least 40%, or even more. Tailor-made is made to order and there is no clothing inventory;

3. Catering to modern people’s personalized requirements for body shape, style, color, etc.;

4. Low price. Due to the reduction of circulation links, especially the removal of high fees in large shopping malls. Tailor-made cashmere sweaters are basically sold at a 30-40% discount in large shopping malls.

It is precisely because of the above characteristics that the new creature of tailor-made cashmere sweaters has mushroomed. At this time, Mr. Meng Zhaomou, the developer of Yuntai cashmere yarn, responded to this situation and developed a super-sized cashmere yarn, which not only improved the smoothness of the cashmere sweater, but also increased its strength, making the cuffs of the cashmere sweater Parts that are prone to wear, such as elbows, are not easily damaged after two or three years of wear, and beautiful computer patterns such as jacquards can also be woven. Therefore, since the Yuntai yarn came out at the end of the last century, it has suddenly become popular in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai markets. At the same time, tailor-made cashmere sweaters have embarked on a rapid development path (in the past, most tailor-made shops could only use the tail yarn left over from the export of large woolen mills to weave clothes. This not only resulted in incomplete color series, but also limited supply. , cannot be supplied continuously)

2. The origin of Yuntai cashmere yarn.

Yuntai yarn was developed by Meng Zhaomou from Shaanxi and was launched in the late 1990s. Due to the fineness and short length of cashmere fiber, although cashmere sweaters have good warmth and soft feel, they still have the following two shortcomings:

1. Pilling easily. Generally, after wearing a cashmere sweater for a week, it will produce lint in the parts prone to friction, which not only affects the appearance, but also makes this part more likely to be damaged in advance. Therefore, there is a popular saying in the industry at that time: cashmere sweaters will always pill. It’s not the cashmere sweaters that pill. This sentence is still often heard from the salespersons of some large shopping malls. It can be seen that cashmere sweaters solve the problem of not being able to ball.

2. The fabric is not strong enough. In the past, most cashmere yarns could only be used to make ordinary cashmere sweaters, and could not use complex processes such as jacquard and intarsia. And under normal circumstances, parts prone to friction such as cuffs and elbows are prone to damage in two to three years.

Yuntai cashmere yarn adopts unique technology, high-quality raw materials, and first-class spinning equipment to successfully solve the above two difficulties. Therefore, as soon as it was launched, it was underwritten by shrewd Wenzhou businessmen throughout the year. The first person to distribute Yuntai yarn was Ye Kemin, who later produced "Hongye Yuntai" cashmere yarn (Ye Kemin and Chen Hongwu, also a Wenzhou native, worked together in 2005 Started jointly producing "Hongye Yuntai" cashmere yarn in 2008). Therefore, in the market before 2006, many people did not know the origin of "Yuntai" cashmere yarn. They only knew that a person named "Lao Meng" developed "Yuntai" cashmere yarn. There is such a legendary story: Many businessmen in the industry are willing to buy Lao Meng's mobile phone number for 10,000 yuan in order to get it. In the 21st century with such a developed commodity economy, this kind of thing may seem like a joke, but it is true.

3. The origin of the Yuntai trademark.

After successfully developing non-pilling cashmere yarn, in order to facilitate promotion, Lao Meng thought of many names to register, but failed to do so.

Later, he thought that there were five peaks in Huashan Mountain in his hometown, one of which was called "Yuntai" Peak. Moreover, his great-grandfather and grandfather have many stories about Yuntai Peak: During the Anti-Japanese War, because he was worried that the Japanese would invade Shaanxi, in order to avoid the war, his great-grandfather transported a lot of grain to "Yuntai Peak". Prepare to go up the mountain to avoid disasters in the future. However, the Japanese failed to invade Shaanxi after all, so Lao Meng's great-grandfather donated the grain he carried up the mountain to Yuntai Temple. Before liberation, Lao Meng's grandfather also initiated the establishment of "Yuntai Middle School". So he thought of using "Yuntai" to register a trademark, but he didn't expect it to be successful right away, so there is now the "Yuntai" cashmere yarn trademark, as well as a series of Hongye Yuntai, Hongye Yuntai, A series of "xx Yuntai" cashmere yarns such as Luye Yuntai, Shenzhen Yuntai, and Shanghai Yuntai, some of which were registered when Lao Meng's trademark awareness was not strong, and some were not registered at all.

According to the National Trademark Network, the following trademarks have been registered, but some companies are still using them illegally, which has seriously infringed the rights and interests of the "Yuntai" trademark owners. (See supplement for details)

4. "Lao Meng".

Lao Meng, whose full name is Meng Zhaomou, is from Huayin, Shaanxi. After the college entrance examination was resumed, he was admitted to the seventh-level mathematics department of Sichuan University. After graduation, he worked in the army and military units. At the end of the last century, he entered Shaanxi University of Finance and Economics as a graduate student. Majoring in industrial economics, in the early 1990s, Lao Meng was supposed to report to work at the Shaanxi Provincial Economic and Trade Commission. However, because the army was transferred to the local government, he had a few months of rest during the period, so he came to Shenzhen at the invitation of a friend. A state-owned enterprise helps. Later, after reporting to the Economic and Trade Commission, there was a three-month business training period. Lao Meng, relying on his familiarity with the training content, requested to only take the exam and not participate in the training, but was not allowed. At that time, Lao Meng, who had been working and living in Shenzhen for half a year, resolutely resigned to seek his own development. In 2005, he set up his own business in Shanghai. Under the influence of his uncle (who was the director of Xi'an Textile Research Institute), he founded Yuntai Cashmere Sweater Factory and devoted himself to research to solve the pilling problem of cashmere sweaters. Finally, we overcame the difficulties at the end of the last century and thus opened up the domestic tailor-made cashmere sweater industry. It also led to more than 30 counterfeit and even counterfeit products of the "xx Yuntai", such as: "Hongye Yuntai", "Purple Leaf Yuntai", etc.

5. Characteristics of "Yuntai" cashmere yarn.

The "Yuntai" cashmere sweater uses high-quality cashmere raw materials with unique technology, formula, special dyeing technology, wool and a series of technological innovations, and adopts the most advanced Italian spinning in the world. Yarn equipment is spun. "Yuntai" cashmere yarn has the following characteristics:

1. It feels soft, waxy and smooth. It not only maintains the excellent feel of cashmere raw materials, but also increases the waxy and smooth characteristics of the fabric, which greatly improves the performance of cashmere, the "soft gold".

2. Not easy to pill. At present, the anti-pilling level of cashmere sweaters at home and abroad is basically level 2-3 (very few can reach level 3 standards). Therefore, cashmere sweaters will generally pill in areas prone to friction after being worn for one to two weeks. And more and more. The "Yuntai" cashmere yarn uses high-quality raw materials and unique technological formulas to make the anti-pilling index of cashmere sweaters above level 3-4 (according to national standards, anti-pilling is divided into the following levels: level 2, 2-3 Level, level 3, level 3-4, level 4. The higher the level, the better the anti-pilling performance).

3. Strong and good. According to national standards, cashmere yarn with a strength coefficient above 170 g/m is considered a qualified product, but such a strength coefficient can only be woven into ordinary styles with ordinary flat knitting machines. Patterns such as cable knitting, jacquard and idle spinning cannot be knitted, let alone computer knitting. However, the strength of "Yuntai" cashmere yarn has been greatly increased to more than 300 g/m. Such cashmere yarn is not only suitable for any machine model Any style. At the same time, the life span of cashmere sweaters is doubled. Ordinary cashmere sweaters can only be worn for two to three years, while cashmere sweaters woven from "Yuntai" cashmere yarn can be worn for at least five to six years.

6. The difference between "Yuntai" cashmere and "Shenzhen Yuntai", "Hongye Yuntai", etc.

Ye Kemin, as Lao Meng’s first distributor, has been distributing Lao Meng’s yarn from 2000 to 2005.

In 2005, Ye Keming and Chen Hongwu started to produce cashmere yarn by themselves and registered the trademark "Hongye Yuntai". It can be said that "Hongye Yuntai" is the first imitator of "Yuntai" cashmere yarn. Subsequently, a series of "Red Leaf Cloud Terraces" (registered by Qinghe County New Era Cashmere Products Co., Ltd.), "Orchid Leaf Cloud Terraces" (registered by Li Zhixiong) and other series of "Cloud Terraces" increased rapidly. According to incomplete statistics, there are currently 64 cashmere yarn product names related to the name "Yuntai", some of which are registered by the National Trademark Office, and some of which are not registered. Since Lao Meng started his business in Shenzhen, some ordinary consumers at that time called Lao Meng's yarn "Shenzhen Yuntai". But Chen Yunzhi, a native of Wenzhou, also registered the trademark "Shenzhen Yuntai" in 2008, which is actually completely unrelated to Lao Meng's "Yuntai". In fact, Lao Meng's trademark has always been "Yuntai".
