Tsingtao Beer is a Chinese brand.

The predecessor of Tsingtao Beer is the Germanic beer company Tsingtao Co., Ltd. founded in Qingdao in August 1903 by a German businessman and a British businessman. It is a beer manufacturer with a long history in China.

In 1903, German businessmen from the Hong Kong Anglo-Germanic Beer Company and British businessmen jointly established the Germanic Beer Company Qingdao Co., Ltd. in Qingdao to produce light beer and dark beer. In 1916, the "Dainippon Ale Co., Ltd." in Tokyo, Japan bought the German beer company Qingdao Co., Ltd. at a high price and changed its name to "Dainippon Ale Co., Ltd. Qingdao Factory".

After Japan surrendered in 1945, the Qingdao Municipal Government took over the Qingdao Factory of Dainippon Ale Co., Ltd. On June 2, 1949, Qingdao was liberated and the Qingdao Brewery was renamed "State-owned Qingdao Brewery".

Olympic-branded products: The so-called sponsors of the 2008 Olympic Games. Not all Tsingtao series products can use Olympic-branded products. The ones that can be used include-Tsingtao Beer ( Produced by the main factory, commonly known as Chunhou), Qingdao Chunsheng (produced by the main factory), Qingdao Light Type (produced by the main factory, commonly known as the Little Prince); Qingdao Super Shuang (produced by the Shanghai Songjiang Factory), Qingdao Native (produced by the Shanghai Songjiang Factory) .

Non-Olympic brand products: This type of product cannot use the Olympic logo, but can use the "Tsingtao Beer" trademark. Note that not every product in the Tsingtao series can use the "Tsingtao Beer" trademark. Such products include Tsingtao Beer (produced by Ma'anshan Branch), etc.

Independent trademark products: This type of product cannot even use the "Tsingtao Beer" trademark, let alone the Olympic logo. However, the branch factory is relatively large and has its own relatively loud brand. Among them are Laoshan Beer and Shanshui Beer.
