Gameplay:

"Cyberpunk 2077" is a first-person perspective role-playing game. Players take on the role of a customizable character who becomes "V". The game is set in the open-world metropolis Night City in California. The game features non-English speaking characters, and players who do not speak that language can equip translation implants to deepen their understanding of them.

Translation quality will vary between implants, with more expensive implants providing more accurate translations. "Braindance" is a device that transmits sensory stimulation directly into the wearer's brain in the form of electronic signals, allowing players to experience the emotions, brain activities and physical activities recorded by others, as if they were experiencing it themselves.

The game will have different endings based on the player's choices. CD Projekt initially announced a multiplayer mode, but later decided to focus on the single-player game, with the multiplayer mode expected to be available as soon as 2021.
