Trademarks are legally divided into two types: registered trademarks and unregistered trademarks. The former must go through a strict review process before it can be obtained. Generally, there will be no infringement after acquisition. The latter is used by the operator himself without review by the trademark registration administrative department, and may be complained of infringement at any time. As an online merchant, you will also bear legal liability if you distribute infringing goods. To this end, in order to reduce risks, online merchants require dealers to provide proof of registered trademarks—trademark registration certificates. In terms of popularity, trademarks include well-known trademarks (certified at the city and county levels), famous trademarks (certified at the provincial level), and well-known trademarks (judicially or administratively recognized, nationwide). The first two must be registered trademarks, and well-known trademarks do not necessarily have to be registered trademarks.
