the voluntary cancellation of the trademark office refers to the legal procedure that a trademark registrant applies to the trademark office for cancellation without using a registered trademark, or if the registered trademark expires and the trademark registrant fails to apply for renewal, the trademark office cancels the registered items of the registered trademark from the Trademark Register according to the application or legal provisions.
if a trademark agency needs to cancel its business registration, it should sign a termination agreement with the client on the unfinished agency matters or sign a sub-entrustment agreement with others with its consent. After the cancellation of business registration, a trademark agency shall submit the following documents (in duplicate) when going through the settlement formalities with the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce:
1. An application for settlement (indicating the application matters, bank, account number, payee, handler and contact telephone number, etc.);
2. The original or photocopy of the cancellation certificate issued by the industrial and commercial registration department (stamped with the seal of the industrial and commercial registration department);
3. The list of business that the agency organization has submitted to the Trademark Office;
4. documents proving that the manager has the right to go through the settlement procedures.
