Making outer packaging in Photoshop is easy to say but complicated to do: the general procedure is to open the PS software, create a new white background file of the required size, open the lace material and the iconic product icon, drag them into the background file, ctrl+ tAdjust the size and position, use the polygonal lasso tool to draw a logo or polygon, fill it with color, add necessary instructions and promotional text, rasterize the text, drag in text effects, etc., OK! 1. Create a new file, set the page size to international standard paper A4, the resolution to 300, the color mode to RGB, and the background content to white. After confirming, use the image rotation command to rotate the image 90 degrees. Select the Gradient Tool, set the gradient color from dark gray to light gray, and then make a linear gradient on the background layer from upper left to lower right. Check the "Ruler" and "Align" options in the view menu, and then make the reference line planning as shown in the file view;

2. Open a shading pattern image and align the background Drag and copy the texture pattern into the current file, and scale and position it according to the reference lines;

3. Continue to copy the texture pattern into the current file and align the layers;

4. Create two more vertical and horizontal guide lines and align them to the center of the centered pattern. Create a new layer, use the Rectangular Marquee Tool and press the Shift key to create a square, and fill it with the color as shown in the picture;

5. Move the rectangular marquee along the two guide lines in the center, and then Create three color blocks of different colors;

6. Create gift name text and set it to artistic calligraphy font, as shown in the picture;

7. Merge product name text layers . Create a new layer, copy the lace pattern into the current file and mirror it to the four corners. After adding the advertising slogan, the design effect on the front of the gift box is completed;

8. Duplicate the background layer on the front of the gift box into two layers, use the rectangular marquee tool to remove the excess parts on the reference lines, and obtain the two sides of the gift box. 9. After performing bevel deformation on the two sides, merge all the layers except the background layer, then adjust the perspective deformation of the gift box, and finally add a shadow map to the gift box layer. Layer effect to get the gift box rendering.

Draw the lines of the packaging box in AI or CRD, export the image and open it in PS, and then apply effects within the line range. It is generally faster to use AI for packaging boxes. There is a ruler tool in AI that can measure the length and width, but PS does not have this function.
