In 1983, the column-tooth drill bit was approved by the Ministry of Coal Industry and was developed in cooperation with the Well Construction Research Institute of the General Academy of Coal Science and Technology.

In 1985, Jiangyin Mining Tool Factory was founded, and the company began to take shape.

In 1991, Jiangyin Mining Tool Factory acquired 11.38 acres of land and built a new factory building of 5,527 square meters.

In May 1991, Jiangyin Mining Tools Factory was renamed Jiangyin Mining Equipment Factory.

In 1991, the electric anchor drilling rig was approved for research and development; the pneumatic anchor drilling rig was approved for research and development by the Ministry of Coal and jointly developed with the Shanghai Branch of the General Academy of Coal Science and Technology.

In 1992, the Party branch of Jiangyin Mining Equipment Factory was established, and in the same year, the trade union was established.

In 2000, the company passed ISO9000 quality management system certification.

In January 2001, Jiangyin Tianyu Support Machinery Research Institute was established.

In April 2002, the MQT-35, 45, and 85T anchor drilling rigs developed by the company passed the ministerial product appraisal.

In 2002, Jiangyin Mining Equipment Factory acquired 72.14 acres of land, renovated and built 38,332 square meters of factory buildings and office buildings.

In 2002, the company's products won the second prize for science and technology from the China Coal Industry Association; the research and development project for a fully hydraulic side-discharging coal loader was established.

In 2003, the "Tianyu" brand trademark was successfully registered.

In April 2003, the company's products pneumatic anchor drilling rig, 45 drilling rig and 85 drilling rig were included in the National Torch Plan.

In September 2003, the company cooperated with China University of Mining and Technology to establish a joint production, academic and research base.

In January 2004, the 20th anniversary of the founding of the factory and the inauguration ceremony of the office building were held.

In July 2004, the company’s product, the pneumatic anchor drill, was listed as a national key new product.

In 2004, the company won the title of Jiangyin Top 100 Enterprises; its products won the second prize of Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Progress Award.

In October 2004, the zmc-30 coal loader and rock loader developed by the company passed the ministerial product appraisal.

In August 2005, Jiangyin Mining Equipment Factory Science and Technology Association was established.

In 2005, it won the title of Wuxi Top 100 Enterprises.

In 2005, it won the title of AAA-level enterprise for abiding by contracts and keeping promises in Jiangsu Province.

In July 2006, the company’s product side-discharging coal loader was included in the Jiangsu Province Torch Plan.

In 2006, the company’s annual sales revenue exceeded 100 million yuan for the first time.

In 2007, the company's product side-discharging coal loader once again won the second prize of the Science and Technology Award of the China Coal Industry Association.

In December 2007, the company won the title of High-tech Enterprise in Jiangsu Province.

In December 2007, the "Tianyu" brand trademark won the title of Jiangsu Province Famous Trademark.

In October 2008, the company was rated as a high-tech industry in Jiangsu Province (national level).

In December 2008, the company’s product side-discharging coal loader won the Jiangyin City Science and Technology Progress Special Award.
