Matters needing attention
When assigning a registered trademark, a trademark registrant shall assign the same or similar trademark registered on the same or similar goods. The application for assignment of a registered trademark shall not cause misunderstanding, confusion or other adverse effects.
After the transfer application is submitted, the Trademark Office shall issue a Notice of Acceptance to the transferee for the transfer application that meets the acceptance conditions; At the same time, according to the address of the registrant recorded by the Trademark Office, send a copy of the Notice of Acceptance to the registrant (except for those registered in foreign countries and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan). If it does not meet the acceptance conditions, it will not be accepted, and a notice of rejection will be issued to the transferee.
