"Pledge" means that the debtor or a third party transfers his movable property or title certificate to the creditor for possession, and takes the movable property or power as the guarantee of the creditor's right. When the debtor fails to perform the debt, the creditor has the right to discount it according to law or give priority to compensation with the price of the auction property.

Trademark pledge is also one of them.

To register the pledge of the exclusive right to use a trademark, the following materials shall be submitted:

(1) A written application for the pledge registration of the exclusive right to use a trademark as required;

(2) Copies of the business licenses of the pledgor and pledgee (subject to the confirmation and seal of the issuing authority);

(3) A copy of the pledge contract (the foreign language text shall be accompanied by a Chinese translation, which shall prevail);

(4) A copy of the trademark registration certificate of the pledged trademark;

(5) Where an agent is entrusted to handle the registration, a power of attorney from the principal (the applicant is the same as the respondent) shall be submitted.
