It can be said responsibly that it is basically not 1) CPU:
First of all, INTEL (Intel) CPU has multiple production bases around the world, two of which are Malaysia and the Philippines. The largest OEM (PS: OEM production, we generally call it "OEM") In other words, the vast majority of CPUs produced in these two places are supplied to OEM manufacturers; while Costa Rica has a few production sources. The CPU box factory mainly supplies the needs of the retail market. Another point is that some novice friends are afraid that the CPU will be counterfeit. You can put it aside. At present, there is no such high technology to fake a CPU. Some refurbished or polished ones
(2) Graphics cards:
Mingxuan, Yeston, Onda, Colorful, Shuangmin Xiaoyingba low-end: from Shenzhen Tongde (Palit ) OEM, the quality is average, but the market sales are very large
Dylan Hengjin - OEM by Taiwan Shanxun Spartak - OEM by Jetway Songjing - OEM by Elite Double Jie - Xintianxia is manufactured by Qingyun - the slightly higher graphics card is made by Chengqi, and the others are all cards welded by a small underground workshop in Baoan, Shenzhen
Elsa---- The earliest Elsa was definitely made by the original factory, because it developed, designed and produced this non-public version of the graphics card. Later, as NVidia's development speed accelerated, Elsa, which was famous for producing non-public versions, no longer had enough. It takes time to develop a new board base, so it is normal for Elsa to find someone to manufacture it.
Asus has always produced its own graphics cards, and generally based on the public version. Changed.
MSI is the largest OEM for NVidia’s official version. Leadtek is NVidia’s most important partner in Asia-Pacific. Starting this year, it will start to provide its professional graphics chips. You know, before it only Provided to Elsa.
Gigabyte is also a major graphics card OEM, but its previous cooperation with Matrox to produce G400 graphics cards failed, so I won’t say more.
ATI original graphics card---the manufacturing process and materials are top-notch, but it is said that it will withdraw from the Chinese mainland market to encourage third-party manufacturers. Oops, there will be less and less good products for everyone in the future, so I still support it. Go ahead. Haha. Part of the ati series is OEMed by Huaxun.
Innovation--it has been almost a year and a half since TSMC OEMed the nvidia series.
< p>Korean graphics cards---both workmanship and design are absolutely first-class, such as SUMA, but they are rare in China(3) Motherboard:
Lenovo brand machine-- -The motherboards inside are Elite ECS, MSI, and Gigabyte and Lenovo (QDI) own motherboards. Now Lenovo only uses Giga and QDI motherboards.
Elite---TCL, Santi, Huaxin, Huaji, and Red Boat are good OEMs. Songjing is also an elite OEM brand
DELL-----Now Dongdong is basically They are all assembled by ASUS, the power supply is OEMed by Liteon, the mouse is made by Deli. The optical drive is also made by Shengrong (Shengrong and Deli are directly under the Taiwan Taiwanese Group, I can't remember it) and Asus The board yield rate is 95%. Although it is already the highest level in the industry, DELL sent 30 engineers to ASUS to increase the yield rate to 98%! DELL's motherboards are from ASUS and FOXCONN)
HP---some computers are also OEMed by FOXCONN. IBM---'s desktop computers use msi boards
VIA-- -VIA brand motherboards should be BIOSTAR OEM Intel original motherboards: OEM-Foxconn (Hon Hai Group), excellent quality, but lack of overclocking design
Colorful: AMD series motherboards, OEM-Volkswagen , performance and quality are good; Intel series motherboards, OEM - Qingyun, quality is average
Shuangmin: Most of the early products were OEMed by Panzheng, and some were OEMed by Haoxin; now they are OEMed by Jetway and Haoxin OEMs low-end, Qingyun OEMs high-end, and the quality of low-end is very unstable. Yeston: Most products are OEMed by Xiangsheng factory, and some are OEMed by DFI or Chengqi.
Onda: OEM There are many manufacturers, and it’s very confusing. Recently, they are mainly DFI and Jetway. The quality is okay, but the drivers and BIOS are rarely updated.
VIA original motherboards: All are manufactured by Sotech and the workmanship is good. Sophisticated, now there are very few of them. Sandi, PCChip (Kirin), Red Boat, Golden Eagle, Huaxin, Huaji, Huahong: they are all elite full-line OEMs
ABIT: Some low-end motherboards are made by Elite OEM to alleviate the problem of insufficient production capacity in Suzhou, mainland China
Shuangjie: All lines are OEMed by Qingyun, and there is an unconfirmed relationship between Shuangjie and Qingyun shares
Panying, Mercedes-Benz: Except for the fact that when they were first launched, they sometimes used DFI products to show off, most of them are produced in the board street of Baoan, Shenzhen, and the quality is very poor
ASRock: Except for some products produced by the Suzhou base The production is pretty good, the rest are produced by Shenzhen Baoan Banka Street, and the quality is very poor
Meida and Tianhong: OEMed by TopStar
Spartak : OEMed by Jetway
(4) Monitor:
Lenovo --- MONITOR is TPV AOC
AOC OEM---IBM, HP, DELL, Lenovo, Dreamer, Big Buffalo, TARGA, MAYA, TCL, MAYA, Founder DELL 19-inch CRT--SONY OEM
ViewSonic: Some CRTs are OEMed by Suzhou Philips and BenQ, and the rest are OEMed by Shenba OEM, LCD is manufactured by MiTAC and Renbao. Meiqi Qixi, Founder, Digital China: OEM by EMC
ADI: OEM by Liteon
ASUS: Neso (Xinteri) is OEMed by Philips, Patriot: OEMed by Dongguan Jingcheng Electronics
CTX: LCD monitor with a contrast ratio of 400:1, manufactured by Thailand Zhongqiang ----- LCD monitors with a contrast ratio of 350:1 are generally produced by companies such as Hitachi and Fujitsu of Japan, while LCD monitors with a contrast ratio of 350:1 are mainly produced by Samsung of South Korea and NEC of Japan.
COMPAQ’s LCD is made by MiTAC’s TCL, Haier’s monitors – some of them are ASUS monitors OEMed by Delta – are Philips, and CTX is manufactured by BENQ – it should be called BenQ. And Acer is called Acer. In the past, many things that ACER could not produce were produced for BenQ, so ACER's trademark was also used in the past.
Now the time is ripe, so BenQ uses its own trademark BENQ instead of ACER, and saves a lot of trademark licensing fees!
Some of DELL's LCD monitors are also BenQ, and BENQ's LCDs are supplied to OEMs by AU Optronics
NESO---is made by Dongguan Jingcheng, CTX---is made by Thailand Made by force
Phlips----- basically uses its own materials and processes its CRT, and the LCD is jointly manufactured by LG and phlips. The only remaining manufacturers of CRT displays are Samsung, Huaguan (MeG), and Hengguan ( EMC), AOC, LG, Great Wall (synonymous with junk goods), BenQ (the cost cannot be supported), Jingcheng, Yuanxing.
Except for the brands I listed above, there are many other brands of monitors on the market that can basically be ignored, such as Dreamer, Big Buffalo, NESO, etc. These brands are still around today but I don’t know where they will be tomorrow. Where is it?
AOC does OEM for many big manufacturers, but the quality is still different. It seems that the best quality is given to international big manufacturers such as IBM and HP, the lower quality is given to Lenovo, Founder, and then its own The brands, from best to worst, are AOC, Enivension (it seems to be spelled this way), TopView, etc. There are even no labels at all. It will be very cheap to buy some low-end monitors from the factory, such as 17-inch flat screen It may only cost 600 yuan
(5) Optical drive:
Omega---Plextor and Creative are OEMs for Omega recorders. Benq---DVD used to be Pioneer OEM. Yes, not anymore... Digital China: OEMed by LG

(6) Mouse, keyboard, headphones, fans, etc. :
Lenovo---the mouse is manufactured by Xuli, a subsidiary of Lite-On.
Tsinghua Tongfang--the keyboard is made by benq
The innovative headset part OEM by SONY
Sanyo of Japan makes fans for Intel's boxed CPUs
ACER mice are manufactured by Logitech
Microsoft's game controllers are OEMed by Acer .The mouse and disk are all manufactured by Qunguang.
(8) Notebook
I want to say here that neither Dell nor Lenovo’s notebooks are produced by themselves. Dell and Lenovo only sell brands, and their products are manufactured by OEMs. Understanding the relationship between brand notebooks and OEMs will be of great benefit to us when purchasing notebooks.
Currently, in Taiwan, the top 10 foundries are Quanta, Wistron, Compal, Inventec, Volkswagen, Huayu, Getac, Chisheng, ASUS, and Chiho. These manufacturers all make OEM, its foundry orders include almost all international brands on the market today, such as IBM, Dell, HP, Toshiba, Sony, Fujitsu, etc.
There are also laptops from different brands produced by the same factory, with different quality and performance. Different brands have different design structures, choose different accessories, and naturally have different testing standards. For example, HP's notebook computer, both produced by Inventec, uses an aluminum alloy casing, while another domestic product uses engineering plastics. Whoever makes a notebook does not mean whose product it is or whose brand it is, the quality and performance of the notebook are also very important. When consumers choose a product, they should not just consider the price. The one with the highest comprehensive price/performance index is the ideal choice.
The last thing that needs to be explained is: OEM does not mean that the goods are not good. The OEM authorization of large companies has a very strict quality certification system. It just prevents the deception of some JS with bad intentions. Everyone I also know it well.
