But my son grew up in the hometown of Confucius and Mencius and now he has graduated from high school. He is still so strange to Confucius and Mencius. How to do this? No, before my son reports to Qufu Normal University, I will take my mother and son to visit Nishan Academy and Confucius Cave to continue to inspire my son's perceptual knowledge of Confucius, a great historical figure.

Confucius has been preaching his thoughts of benevolent governance and rule by virtue all his life. His thought of "the benevolent loves others" has always reflected the light of humanism in China's long feudal society, and nurtured and educated countless people with lofty ideals and common people.

Confucius' thought and practice of teaching without distinction made education civilian, changed official learning into private learning, and made it possible to educate civilians in feudal society in past dynasties. This is really something.

Confucius' education in the six arts of ritual, music and calligraphy has cultivated countless heroes since ancient times. His flag is still shining, shining on human beings, and its influence is unprecedented. Nishan, located 30 kilometers southeast of Qufu City, was originally named Niqiu Mountain.

Mount Nishan is not high, but there are five peaks around it, which overlap and have an unusual scenery.

To the east of Mount Nishan, there is an inexhaustible Zhiyuan Creek, which gurgles all year round. Even in the coldest winter, the pines and cypresses in this area are full of vitality.

Nishan Academy is located at the foot of Nishan.

Nishan Academy, Zhusi Academy, Shimen Academy and Chunqiu Academy are also called the four major academies in Qufu.

The wind of giving lectures in Chinese academies mainly began in the Song Dynasty.

In A.D. 1035, Fan Zhongyan, the magistrate of Suzhou, merged Zhou Xue and Confucius Temple into one, and founded the "Temple Learning Integration".

1043, the 46th generation Confucius Sun Kongzong was willing to expand the Nishan Confucius Temple.

At the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty, the academy was incorporated into the national government-run system.

1336, Zhongshu Zuocheng and Wang Maode invited the establishment of Nishan Academy, and recommended Peng Kun to establish Nishan Academy as the owner of the mountain.

At the end of Yuan Dynasty, Nishan Academy declined.

14 17 years, the 59th feast duke Kong Yanmen was rebuilt.

1494, 60th generation feast duke Kong Xu Hong and Four Gentlemen Record Kong Gonghuang were rebuilt.

The Nishan Academy building preserved today is a temple built in Daoguang period of Qing Dynasty.

Nishan Academy, the only hospital, was built in the northeast of Nishan Confucius Temple 100 meters. There are three main rooms and three east and west wings in the Academy, which is a place to give lectures and commemorate Confucius.

1925, Kong Decheng, the grandson of Confucius, was rebuilt again. Besides Nishan Confucius Temple, Nishan Academy and Mu Yan Temple have also been restored.

Nishan Academy is a part of many ancient academies in China, and its influence is not so great. However, because it is located in the hometown of saints and has a relationship with Confucius, the founder of Confucianism, it has some unique features.

Confucius Temple in Nishan was built because Confucius was born in Nishan. Nishan Academy is built according to Nishan Confucius Temple, which is unique in that it is built in the birthplace of saints.

Today's Nishan Academy is the Nishan Confucius Temple.

There are more than 1000 juniper trees around Nishan Academy, which are lush, with straight trunk and small crown like a brush. They are called Bai Wen and Bai Bi. The quaint blue bricks and gray tiles are hidden in the lush trees of Nishan Academy.

Nishan Academy has five courtyards and more than fifty halls. The main entrance is called Lingxingmen, in front of which stands the stone tablet of "Daming Nishan Academy". The second door is called the big city gate. The main building of the temple is Dacheng Hall, with five halls in front and five doors in the east and west. There are three bedrooms behind the temple, three bedrooms each. The east and west side doors connect the two sides of the courtyard. The lecture hall is in front of the East Courtyard, followed by the Earth Temple, and the east side of the West Courtyard is connected with Yushenghou Temple, forming a single courtyard. To the west is the hall and bedroom of King Sheng Kai, where Confucius' parents are sacrificed. There are more than ten stone tablets in the Yuan, Ming, Qing and Republic periods inside and outside the temple, which are important materials for understanding Nishan, the birthplace of Confucius, and the historical evolution of its architecture.

Not far from the southeast of Nishan Academy, there is a gazebo with cornices at four corners. It is said that Confucius stood here more than two thousand years ago, looking east at Yishui. He felt that time was passing and life was getting old, and he couldn't help but sigh: "The deceased is like a husband, and he doesn't give up day and night." Later generations built a pavilion here to commemorate it, hence the name Guanchuan Pavilion.

Fuzi Cave is a natural stone cave, also known as Hannah Quinlivan Cave, which is located on the southeast cliff of Nishan Confucius Temple. There is a natural stone bed in the cave. In front of the stone bed stands a stone tablet engraved with the three Chinese characters of "hole".

Confucius Cave is small and common, but there are many legends.

One of the legends: Confucius' mother was pregnant, and when she was working in the field, her stomach suddenly hurt badly and she couldn't go home, so she gave birth to Kong Qiu in this lonely Confucius cave. Confucius' father looked at the baby and thought it was a monster, so he put the baby in the hole and dragged his wife home.

The newborn baby is starving. A tigress on the mountain heard this and ran into the cave to nurse the newborn baby. It was a crisp autumn season, the cave was sultry, and the baby was so hot that it cried. Just when the tiger didn't know what to do, an eagle flew from the sky, flew into the cave and stood on the ground with its wings to cool the baby.

At that time, some ordinary people working in the fields saw this strange sight and thought that the baby in the cave was the son of the phoenix, so there was a beautiful story of the phoenix being born, the tiger being raised and the eagle fanning the wind.

That morning, when my wife and I were standing in front of the Confucius Temple Cave for a group photo, I was thinking in my mind, why did such a baby who suffered all kinds of hardships during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period become a historical giant? At that stage, China's "ideological circle", why is the master like a cloud? Is the economic and cultural development of human society in direct proportion? Is it the best starting point for the Chinese national rejuvenation to carry out cultural rejuvenation first? Do thinkers like Confucius need to nourish human souls in today's economic society?

On that day, there were few tourists in Nishan Academy and Fuzi Cave, which was far from the busy scene of Confucius Temple in Qufu City. In the vast Nishan, the ancient Nishan Academy, only three of us are hanging out with the driver Xiao Zou.

That day, what disappointed me even more was that when I was about to go home, my son seemed to make a big turn from the wild. He is too tired to say a word. He got into the car listlessly, closed his eyes and fell asleep on the back of the car seat.

I sat in the passenger seat and looked back at my son. I thought to myself, this child grew up in an era when everyone recklessly developed the economy and the whole people did business. Although I don't know the root cause of the swarming of tigers and flies in society, I have heard some teachers confidently ask parents to do something personal, and then adjust their seats for students afterwards. On holidays, I accept red envelopes from parents who want their children to succeed. Children who grow up in this school spirit environment will certainly not grow up under the poison of monetarism.

Alas! I hope my son will not be a man without life thoughts, beliefs and souls in the future.
