I didn't expect the new product GY-09s to be launched at the end of the year after the reorganization of the lingering sound. It's a bit unexpected that 99 yuan is still so grounded. At first, I thought 09s was a substitute for GY-03 tested before. Later, it was found that there was a model of GY-09 before reverberation, and 09s should be an upgraded model.

The packaging has remained basically unchanged. The front is still a product photo, and the new trademark and ID are placed in the upper left corner, which is more cartoon. From a distance, it looks like a whale spraying water (O). On the back are technical parameters, factory name, address and contact information, which are quite formal.

Pull out the inner box and open the flip cover, you can see the paper manual, warranty card, fabric storage bag and earmuffs and other accessories.

The standard earmuffs are similar to GY-03, including 3 pairs of white AET07 and 3 pairs of black low-frequency earmuffs, all in S/M/L sizes. The smallest pair of AET07 has put on headphones by default, so there is one pair of cardboard missing. Comparatively speaking, I prefer 03 cardboard, which looks a bit advanced.

Compared with 03 and 09s, the wire rod was upgraded strongly, and it was replaced by 4 strands of 96 5N oxygen-free copper wire rods, using braided sheath, which was a bit thick. By default, it is equipped with a talking microphone and control buttons, which is relatively rare.

The cavity of 09s is all metal, with large volume and short catheter. The sound outlet is designed with an inward inclination of 30 degrees, with a larger aperture, and the perforations of the wire mesh are not as dense as usual. The tail stalk is not as long as 03, far from the auricle and not heavy. It feels much better than 03, closer to the traditional in-ear earplugs, and the stethoscope effect is not obvious. After listening for a long time, there is nothing uncomfortable.

It is said that the manufacturer upgraded the unit and chose a custom-made titanium-plated composite diaphragm with the size of 10mm.
