The Regulations for the Implementation of the Trademark Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) was promulgated by Order No.358 of the State Council of the People's Republic of China on August 3, 2002 and revised by Order No.651of the State Council of the People's Republic of China on April 29, 2006. The implementation regulations are divided into general rules, trademark registration application, trademark registration application review, change, transfer and renewal of registered trademarks, international registration of trademarks, trademark review, trademark use management, protection of exclusive right to use registered trademarks and trademark agency, with 98 articles, which are divided into chapters 10, and shall come into force on May 1 2004.
