There are seven types of Moutai Prince Liquor:

1. Moutai Prince Liquor (Puwang)

In 1999, Moutai Company launched the first generation of Moutai Prince Liquor (Pu Wang). Its bottle is made of transparent glass, and it is difficult to find it on the market now due to the limited stock. The second generation of Moutai Prince Liquor (Pu Wang) was changed from a transparent glass bottle to a milky white glass bottle, unifying the bottled style of the Moutai series of wines.

2. Moutai Prince Liquor (Treasure)

In 2004, Moutai Company launched Moutai Prince Liquor (Treasure). It is a mid-range product of Moutai Liquor Co., Ltd. It is better than Moutai Prince Liquor (Pu Wang) in terms of taste and quality.

3. Maotai Prince Liquor (Jiangmen Classic)

In 2010, Moutai Company launched Maotai Prince Liquor (Jiangmen Classic). It is a mid-range series product of Moutai Liquor Co., Ltd. Later, because the Jiangmen Classic trademark was successfully registered by other companies, Moutai Company no longer had the right to continue to use the Jiangmen Classic trademark. Therefore, Moutai Prince Liquor (Jiangmen Classic) ceased production in 2018.

4. Moutai Prince Liquor (Black Gold)

In 2016, Moutai Company launched Moutai Prince Liquor (Black Gold). It is very similar to Moutai Prince Liquor (Jiangmen Classic), and its market positioning is not very prominent. It is between Puwang and Jiangmen Classic.

5. Moutai Prince Liquor (Golden Prince)

In 2017, Moutai Company launched Moutai Prince Liquor (Golden Prince). It is named after the golden color of its bottle. The quality and taste of the wine are superior to Maotai Prince Liquor (Pu Wang) and comparable to Maotai Prince Liquor (Black Gold).

6. Moutai Prince Liquor (sauce color)

In 2017, Moutai Company also launched Moutai Prince Liquor (sauce color). It is basically on the same level as Moutai Prince Liquor (Black Gold). In terms of overall evaluation, the reputation of the sauce color is slightly better than that of Black Gold and Golden Prince, and the taste is much better than that of Puwang.

7. Moutai Prince Liquor (Classic with Maotai Flavor)

In 2017, Moutai Company also launched Moutai Prince Liquor (Classic with Maotai Flavor). Maotai Prince Liquor (Maotai-flavor classic) completely adheres to the traditional craftsmanship of Maotai-flavor wine, and has upgraded the quality and packaging of the wine. It is a new model of Maotai-flavor wine with extremely high cost performance.
