How to find the product number quickly by Amazon Mail

The product number is a part of the unique identification system called global trade item number. The following are the most common global trade item number used to create Amazon catalog pages:

Universal Commodity Code (UPC)

UPC is a standard commodity code that can help you sell goods.

international standard book code (ISBN)

ISBN is a commodity code specially used for books, which is usually associated with the publication date.

European commodity number (EAN)

EAN is a commodity code specially used for the commodities in European shopping malls. This commodity code is also called the international commodity code.

Japanese commodity number (JAN)

JAN is a commodity code specially used for goods in Japanese shopping malls. This commodity code is also called the international commodity code. Unlike

Amazon Commodity Coding (ASIN), commodity coding can be used in many systems other than Amazon.

Check commodity code (global trade item number) requirements by category to find out whether there are specific coding requirements for your commodity.

check the ISBN, UPC, EAN or JAN located above or below the barcode of the product package (or cover). GTIN-14 is marked on the shipping container.
