Buddha’s Speech on Taoism and Secular Karmic Sutra

Translated by Shi Shengjian, the Shaman of the Qin Dynasty who begged to beg for help

I heard this. At that time, the Buddha only had a solitary garden in Savatthi State. With the great monks there were one thousand two hundred and fifty. There are countless Bodhisattvas. Four generations of people. Ashulun Association of Heavenly Dragons, Ghosts and Gods. At that time, it was given to Gu Gushi and five hundred lay people. Leaving Savatthi City, he went to visit the Buddha's place. Jishou sat on one side. Cross your hands and ask the Buddha. How many generations have you lived and managed your family's wealth? Monkhood and Taoism are similar and different. What method should be followed to quickly achieve the supreme and true way? Why should we transform all sentient beings? Buddha said. Shanzai asked. Develop and learn from the future. Buddha said. There are three generations of wealth. One day makes money. The second is Zhongcai. The third is wealth. What does it mean to make money? Some people manage property and accumulate money. I dare not live without food and practice the sutras and precepts. You cannot be filial and support your second parents. I am not happy to give my wife enough at any time. I hope that the news will be abundant and abundant. The slaves had their clothes cut to cover their shapes and food. Embrace foolishness and cherish it as a bee loves honey. If you don’t believe in the sages, you won’t worship the Taoist monks and monks. It is not virtuous to give alms to sow blessings. The mind is always thinking about what is going to happen. Those who join together will scatter misfortune and fortune. He covets the body and the land without feeling resentment. I couldn't pass through Nili Gate. His body is rich in food from the four great aphids. God gave it a false name. Being weak is like being in danger and not solid. I don't understand how proud I am of relying on the world. Carrying all kinds of worries means living forever. I am aware that I am not up to Sikong. The Three Realms are still in vain. He is obsessed with greed, lust, jealousy. Such a walker. Serve your parents peacefully and sincerely. The words are returned without losing color, and the morning is fixed and the evening is saved with caution. The kindness of my two parents is endless. Give your wife enough food and clothing in season. The kindness returns and *** rejoices together. In this case, the wife will never act selfishly. Look at the slaves, guests and family members so that they will not be hungry or hungry. If you don’t believe that you will be reborn after death. It is said that death will disappear and become invisible. Offering filial piety to those born with care and nourishment. Give your wife enough love and affection. Gaze at the servant to gain his power. You cannot worship Taoist monks. Reluctant to do good deeds and give charity. You will be blessed with special blessings in the future. It is called Zhongcai. The Buddha then chanted:

Always be able to nurse, nourish, be filial and provide for your two parents

provide enough for his wife without losing integrity at all times

serve guests and disciples, comfort them and do not do evil

All the servants obey the instructions and do not violate the teachings

If you don’t believe that future generations will be surprised and unhappy after hearing this

I think that I will live forever and will not die

p>

The three realms are like illusions. You should understand this statement

The sins and blessings you have committed are from the original.

The Buddha told the elders again. A wealthy person. It is said that if a person has wealth, he can feed and clothe himself. It's time to be filial to your parents. Always looking at the color does not make you feel sad. It is not against etiquette to go out or enter without breaking the rules. Create pure conduct and avoid contamination. Respect your elders, be humble and wise. The mind of being enlightened and knowledgeable is not evil. The poor, the poor, the salty, the incompetent and the heavy. To support his wife, he often ordered abundant supplies. Eliminate all evil thoughts and cultivate them to correct them. News slaves do not make people poor. Don't scold and be compassionate. Respect the sages, the most upright scholars, and become monks, obedient to the Dharma, and wise ascetics. Saluting all day and night does not lose its meaning. Giving away what is lacking makes one moral. Speak freely of the classics and transform ignorance. Use good expedients and never miss the right moment. Protect all sentient beings. Just like a cow eating cud and producing milk. The cheese comes out, the cheese comes out crispy, and the delicious food comes out. Daigo is the softest and most delicious. He settled down and mourned in all directions. Where there is much kindness, there is much peace. All the people in the world will be enlightened. This person is the most respected, supreme, unparalleled, unparalleled couple, the great hero in the world, alone and without a partner. The Buddha then chanted:

If you have a lot of wealth, you can provide yourself with food and clothing

Feed your filial parents without losing their dignity

It is not against the rules to travel and return, it is not against etiquette

Be always pure and obedient to the law and not be deceived

Promise and worship the humble and wise ones

Initiate the learned ones and do not admire evil

Allow your wife to have her own place at any time

Mercy bestow upon your slaves so that they always have plenty of food and clothing

Always receive alms and donations from the monks

Donate from the profound and wonderful teachings Deaf, deaf and blind

I am sorry that people in the ten directions do not act alone

Always be at peace with yourself and you will be able to resolve all misfortunes

For example, Su Dai Go comes from the Cuo grass.

It can be used to settle down and be free from diseases

My heart is always calm with compassion for all sentient beings

With these four levels of conduct, I can quickly become a Buddha

The Buddha told the elders. There are three levels of monkhood and Taoism. One is called Sravaka. The second one is Pratye-Awareness. The third is Mahayana. What is sravaka. Fear of suffering and disgust with the body. Si Wuyang is counting the difficulties of life and death, dealing with the troubles, and looking at his body as if he is resentful. The four great beasts and the five thieves in the netherworld. Sit in meditation for a few breaths and keep your mind calm. Observe the appearance of lochia and impurity. Fear of lust is the source of pain and thought. Fear of hell. The misfortune of hungry ghosts. The beast is angry. Difficulty among people.

Parting in heaven. It cannot be measured. Rotating around endlessly is like a prisoner in prison. Want to put an end to the sin of hard work in life and death. Seeking the peace of doing nothing and enjoying Nihuan. But I don’t think about all sentient beings for my own sake. Small kindness does not bring great sorrow. Relying on sound cannot understand the wisdom of space. The three realms are still illusory. He is interested in helping himself and does not care about kindness. It's for sravaka studies. The Buddha then chanted:

Afraid of the endless hardships of life and death

My heart is filled with fear, but I just want to be at peace

Sit in meditation and count your breaths, concentrate on peace of mind

p>

Observe the amount of lochia and impurity in the body

Abandon the color of the three realms and cut off desires to achieve peace of mind

Cannot practice the Great Compassion, Only Zhi Le Ni Huan

Buddha told the elders. Pratyekabuddha. This hair is careless. For the sake of Bodhisattva. Give alms, keep the precepts, endure humiliation, be diligent, and concentrate on wisdom. To use hope, think, and seek is to be honored by the heaven and the world and return home. Thirty-two signs and eighty kinds of good. Those who are majestic, majestic and incomparable. I don't understand the appearance of the Tathagata's physical body. Because the world's fools don't know the way. Cutting off the flow of life and death cannot reverse the original. Exhausting life and death is all about showing up. Love and strict appearance. Literary words and teachings can transform ignorance. It shows that the Ming Dynasty and its appearance are good. It is said that there is color in the examination. Although he performs the four grades of grace, the six degrees of perfection, and the thirty-seventh grade. Observe the twelve conditions and try to pull them out. If you don't understand, there is no way to hope. Just make the accumulated virtues be like the empty realm and not reach the Buddha. So what? Use for no purpose. What is short of attainment? Give alms, keep the precepts, endure humiliation, be diligent, and concentrate on wisdom. The fourth grade and the four graces are somewhat disappointing. Thoughts save all five interests from life and death. Solve the emptiness without thinking and do not want all dharmas. Know that all dharma is like an illusion, a wild horse affects the banana bubbles, and is nothing. Daohui is formless and equal to the void. Save all sentient beings without any harm. The Buddha then chanted:

The Bodhisattva's will is to admire the Mahayana karma

But if you want to stick to the Buddha's body, it will be unsuitable

Giving precepts, enduring humiliation, diligently practicing meditation and wisdom

p>

Four Grades of Grace and Six Degrees of Self-pleasure

Admiration for the Thirty-Two Phases and Eighty Good Lingwei

The Lord in Heaven and the World is free from the Five Yins and Six Decays

But you can’t see the depth when you look at the rough things

Although you want to travel in all directions, your heart and mind are contradictory

It is like a wild horse in the water bubbles

Panana is like a dream There are so many shadows and delusions

Making meritorious deeds is like the sand in the river

Having the supreme truth in your heart will not liberate the demons

The Buddha told the elders. His Mahayana studies. Send out the supreme and true Taoist intention. Walking in great compassion is like empty space. But practicing great compassion is useless. Don’t worry about your body but think about the Five Interests. All sentient beings wish to be at peace. Be compassionate and protective with the fourth level of heart. Benevolence, love, righteousness and other benefits are given to all directions. Give alms, keep the precepts, endure humiliation, be diligent, and concentrate on wisdom. The six degrees of infinity have no hope. To give to all sentient beings. Observe the three realms going back and forth. Diligence and hardship are immeasurable. Think of it like father, mother, son, and body. Waiting for nothing. Tears for it. If you want to save yourself from misfortune, you will go to the great road. The Buddha then chanted:

Have the supreme intention to practice compassion, joy and protection

Great sorrow is like walking in vain, etc., which is unsuitable

Being virtuous is not for oneself but for the ten. Fang Shi

Save all the sentient beings to reach the great wisdom

There are four more things that lead to the Mahayana. One is to give alms to the needy. The second one is not to choose between arrogant and evil deeds. The third is to give nothing and hope for nothing in return. The fourth is to apply this merit to all living beings. The Buddha then chanted:

Don’t take it seriously when giving to the poor

Be wise and wise, don’t ask for anything, and you will be rewarded

Those who come and go among the crowd

With this merit, I will send all my orders to the great road

The Buddha told the elders. Following the precepts, there are four things that can lead to the Mahayana. One is to guard your mouth, body and mind, and not think wrong. Second, be polite when entering or exiting. The third is that I don’t want to be born in the position of Shi Brahma, the Holy King of Heavenly Wheels. The fourth is to use these prohibitions to benefit all living beings. The Buddha then chanted:

Always protect your body, your mouth, your mind, and your mind as strong as Mount Tai

If you have never been disrespectful when going out or walking around

I don’t want to be born as the Wheel-turning King Shakhtar in the sky

Then use this right behavior to benefit everyone

The Buddha told the elders. There are four things in enduring humiliation that lead to the Mahayana. One thing is that if someone scolds someone, the sound will be ignored. Secondly, if someone beats him, his plan will be invisible. The third one is to say that those who destroy and humiliate are like the wind blowing. Fourthly, those who do harm often feel great sorrow. The Buddha then chanted:

The curse of Laos is silent and invisible.

If hatred arises in the mind, it will stop on its own.

The color of the heart pleases everyone and is respectful.

Use this to obtain the enlightenment of the thirty-two signs of Buddhahood

The Buddha told the elders. There are four things to strive for. One day and night, he has never failed to practice the Dharma.

Second, it is better to lose one's body and life than violate Taoism. The third is to be diligent in satirizing and profoundly understanding the classics without slacking off. The fourth is to help those who are in danger. It's four. The Buddha then chanted:

I have been practicing the Dharma all night long and have never forgotten it

I would rather lose my life than violate Taoism

I do not feel guilty about reciting the profound scriptures

Rescue those in danger and don’t harbor resentment

The Buddha tells the elders. There are four things in meditation. One is to enjoy and practice intensively and live in solitude. The second is to calm down your body, speech and mind so that you will not be confused. The third one is that even though everyone is making trouble, he can always calm himself down. Fourthly, his mind is open but he has nothing to worry about. The Buddha then chanted:

It is always better to cultivate one's mind and live in solitude

Stand quiet in body, speech and mind, without thinking or making noise

The center of chaos in several places will not change suddenly

p>

See with one mind the wisdom and wisdom of the ten directions.

The Buddha told the elders. Wisdom has four things. One is the solution to the emptiness of the body. The four major combined elements have no original name. Secondly, his birth in the three realms is all caused by his mind. The mind is like an illusion, leaning on all forms. The third one is to understand that the five yins have no place at all. Whatever he writes is due to his emotions. Fourthly, the Twelve Conditions of Dawning have no root causes but appear in opposition to each other. It's four. The Buddha then chanted:

Understand that the body is empty and the four elements are combined

Dispersion and destruction have nowhere to be born from the heart

The five yins have no roots. Think of it as a name

Twelve conditions lead to this great peace for no reason

The Buddha told the elders. There are six more things in wisdom. One said that dissolving color is like gathering foam. The second day I had pain and itching like blisters. Third, thoughts are like wild horses. On the fourth day, life and death are like bananas. Fifth, perception is like an illusion. Sixth: The mind is like an influence, and everything is empty and nowhere. The Buddha then chanted:

Resolving color is like gathering foam, and itching is like blisters

Thoughts are like wild horses, life and death are like bananas

Understanding false examples and illusions, none of the three realms are good

p>

Distinguish the void and even the great road

The Buddha told the elders. Compassion has four things. One is to think of compassion in the ten directions. The second one is like a mother raising a child. The third one is extremely sad. The fourth one is like the body. It's four. The Buddha then chanted.

Thinking of compassion in the ten directions, like a mother raising a child

Always have extremely compassionate thoughts, just like the body itself

The Buddha told the elders. There are four things in mourning. One is pity for it. The second is to shed tears for it. The third is that the body desires to take the place of sin. The fourth is to save it with life. There are four things to be happy about. One is harmonious appearance. The second is good words. The third one is preaching scriptures. The fourth is interpretation. There are four things to protect. One thing is to teach you to get rid of evil and do good. The second one is to always teach and return to the Three Treasures of Life. The third is to send the message of Taoism. The fourth is to enlighten all living beings. It's four. The Buddha then chanted:

My thoughts are like rain and tears, and my body wants to take the place of his sin

Sacrificing his life to help others does not mean to hold a grudge

He Yanyan is good at speaking Dharma and distinguishing meanings

p>

Teach to eliminate evil, teach good, and return to the Three Jewels of Life

The Buddha told the elders. There are four kinds of diseases. Become the supreme true path. One is to learn from the void and seek nothing. The second is to have no thoughts and no hope. The third one is born without wish or admiration. Fourthly, the karma of the three vehicles has no past and present. It's four. The Buddha then chanted:

The emptiness is liberated, there is nothing to seek, there is no thought, and there is no expectation of retribution

No desire for what is born, and it is always waiting for three lifetimes

The Buddha told the elders. There are four ways to become a Buddha. One thing is that everything is pure. The second is to understand that all things are universal and illusory. The third is that life, death, and annihilation all depend on fate. Fourthly, calculating its fate is also invisible to the original. The Buddha then chanted:

All things are originally pure, and things are like illusions

Life and death are determined by fate, and calculations are also invisible

The Buddha told the elders. There are six ways to quickly achieve enlightenment. One: The body always behaves kindly, without resentment and without attachment. The second is that the mouth always acts kindly and embodies deep wisdom and meaning. The three of them have kind hearts and are attuned to their sorrow in all directions. The fourth is to protect the precepts and not create the karma of pursuing the Mahayana. Five: Rightly observing the ten directions of emptiness, Taoism and customs are all non-dual. The sixth one is to provide enough food to save one's life and save one's life in times of crisis. It's six. The Buddha then chanted:

The body always practices kindness and the heart never beats the knot of resentment

The mouth constantly cultivates words and expresses the friendship of deep wisdom

The heart and benevolence temper all sorrowful thoughts. The ten directions

Guard the precepts and do not think about observing the space in the ten directions

The Buddha told the elders. There are four things that can lead to Buddhahood. First, if you work diligently and advance, you will achieve nothing. The second is to educate and transform all sentient beings with a continuous Taoist mind. The third is to wander through life and death without getting tired of suffering. The fourth is great compassion and great compassion, never giving up power and wisdom. It's four. The Buddha then chanted:

Efforts are endless, teachings are uninterrupted

Don't worry about life and death, never give up power and wisdom

The Buddha told the elders. There are four things to civilize sentient beings. One is that if you don’t believe in life and death, you will use current events as a metaphor for misfortunes and blessings.

The second is that if you don’t believe in the Three Treasures, it will show you the right path. The third one is confusing the wrong path, which refers to the three vehicles of speech. Buddhism and Taoism are exclusive and have no companions. Fourthly, everything in the three realms is like an illusion without any true meaning. It's four. The Buddha then chanted:

Those who do not believe in life and death, misfortunes, blessings, and fall into wrong views will reveal the Great Way

Buddhism and Taoism alone have no companions, and the three realms are empty and illusory

The Buddha told Senior citizens. There are seven things to enlightenment. One is to teach those who are greedy to give alms. Second, those who commit evil will be given instructions and warnings. Third, those who are angry are advised to endure humiliation. The fourth is to turn those who are lazy into diligent ones. Five: Those who are confused will give instructions and make up their minds. Sixth: The foolish ones teach the ultimate in learning and wisdom. Seventh: I don’t know how to show power at any time. It's seven. The Buddha then chanted:

Those who are frugal teach alms, commit evil, and obey the precepts

Anger encourages patience, laziness, and diligence

Those who are in trouble teach the teachings of determination and ignorance.

Infinite Wisdom can bring forth good power at any time

A Bodhisattva can ask the Buddha at any time. Why are there upper, middle and lower scholars? I don’t realize that everyone has reached the Mahayana. Buddha said. Scholars' minds have far and near interpretations, deep and shallow aspirations, and pros and cons, so they show the three vehicles. There are no three false quotes in the plan. For example, there is a person who is a minister of the country and is smart and intelligent. The king's main concern is to participate in state affairs. Once entrusted, there is no doubt. Minister Yousi has three relatives and friends. One is the prince. The second is the venerable one. The third one is mortal. There are many flaws in the way the ministers govern the country. Everyone sneaked into Bai Zhiyu Wang. When the king heard that he was trying to rebel and had doubts, he asked his ministers. All ministers will commit serious crimes if they commit any crime. Or cut off the head. It may be said that hands and feet are amputated, or ears and noses are cut off. Pick your eyes and cut your tongue. The king's ministers discussed it very seriously. Tell him otherwise. This person is wise and occasionally makes mistakes. It is not appropriate for you to be arrested and imprisoned. All the ministers dared not reply. Tell the border officials. Immediately issue a document ordering the ministers to be imprisoned in prison. All relatives and friends feel sad to hear this. If you want to get out of prison, you will not be able to do anything. He only provides food and clothing every day. Nor can we prevent Kao Zhi from being seen. The Venerable also heard the bitterness of his heart. Go to his explanation and describe it as a jailer. Don't make Lula suffer a painful rest and be unable to be released from prison. When the prince heard about it, he thought it was indifferent. My relatives have no serious crimes. The ministers hated him and slandered the king. It is not appropriate to take you. The original version of Chen written by King Yi is called Wu Ni Si. I should use my old wishes to forgive their misfortunes. The king pardoned his beloved son and released him from prison. Meeting the king made the business as usual. Its king is called Tathagata. The prince's wisdom saves the boundless good power and expedient means of the Bodhisattva. It is possible to escape from the prison of the three realms. Become a Buddha and help all sentient beings. Relatives and friends of the Venerable said that one should practice pure precepts. Avoiding the three evil realms does not help the three realms. To receive blessings from heaven and earth, one cannot reach the path. Anyone who knows friends. It's called charity. This is suitable for escaping from the realm of hungry ghosts. It is inevitable to suffer the misfortune of the beasts of hell. So what? To each his own kind. Send out the supreme and true Taoist intention. There is no great sorrow in worshiping the great mercy. Enlighten everything so that you can reach Buddhahood. The classic way does not reach the deep Dharma. If you don't understand how to advance or retreat, you will stop and destroy yourself. Therefore, Pratye Awareness is afraid of life and death and has difficulty going back and forth. But because he wants to help himself and does not care about suffering others, he falls into the realm of sravakas. Everyone gets it according to their own profession. It's time to say. Five hundred elders were given to the lay people of the Gu family. They all express the supreme and true Taoist intention. There are thousands of people who are far away from the dust and defilement of all dharmas. The harp and harp instruments sing without the drums. The appearance of birds and beasts and the sound of sorrow. When it is. There is no one who is not happy to return to the Buddha.

The layman asked again. What is the ambition for a beginner to learn the Tao? Buddha said. First practice the five precepts and return to the three. What are the five precepts? One is to be compassionate and kind, and don’t kill. The second is to be honest and honest, don’t steal when you use it. The three are chaste, fresh and untainted. The fourth is to have faith and not to deceive. The fifth is to achieve a clear goal without chaos. What is the three self-returns? One is to return to the supreme truth of Buddha. The second is to return to the Dharma to control your mind. The third is to return to the vastness of the saints. Just like the ocean is all-encompassing. There are four methods again. One is called Taoist traces. The second day is called return. Three days will not return it. The fourth is no attachment. The supreme path from Pratyekabuddha to Buddha. Both heaven and human body are born from it. Next, practice the four grades, four graces, four arguments, and six salvations, infinite compassion and compassion, and you will achieve the Great Way. I knew the infinite but saw the infinite. It would be wise not to teach others a lesson. Ananda asked. What is the name of this sutra? Why should I pursue it? The Buddha said it is called Jie La Jia. With the wealth of the third grade of industry, you can become a monk and practice Taoism, which is supremely true. Its main title is to perform Taoism and secular industry. Buddha said so. The sage Ananda. To the lonely layman. Five hundred pure believers. Don't be unhappy.
