Usually the product registration number will be marked on the outer packaging of more formal medical surgical masks. The numbering rule is usually as follows:
The middle layer is a must for medical masks. The outer layer is waterproof, the inner layer is dehumidifying, and the middle layer is the key layer. It is made of special materials and plays a protective role. To intercept and filter viruses and bacteria, it must have a three-layer structure. Ordinary non-medical masks may have many layers and are relatively thick, but they do not have a special key middle layer and cannot filter or block viruses, so they are easy to identify.
Precautions for using medical masks
1. When not in use, the mask can be hung in a clean, dry and ventilated place, or placed in a clean, breathable paper bag. Masks need to be stored separately to avoid contact with each other, and the person using the mask must be identified.
2. Medical standard protective masks cannot be washed, nor can they be disinfected using disinfectants, heating, etc. ?
3. Please refer to the instructions for cleaning of self-priming filtering respirators (full-face or half-face) and powered air-supply filtering respirators.
