The Tianjin Cigarette Factory of Shanghai Tobacco Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 1919. It was formerly known as the Tianjin Daying Tobacco Company Factory. It was taken over by the Central People's Government in 1952 and reorganized into the state-owned Tianjin Cigarette Factory. It joined Shanghai Tobacco at the end of 2004.
