How to design a business card?
The basic concept of design is to collect [component elements] in a field and interact with each other: this interaction conveys a message in a known background, through the constituent elements within the design scope. With visual adjustments and clever processing, the message is conveyed. Basically, these components are a combination of typeface, logo, illustration, and the dominating effect of black, white, and color. Components of a business card Usually when designing a business card, the form, color and pattern are designed according to the CI manual or letterhead; the size and shape are often cut to match the size of the wallet; the content is determined by the customer. In order to make the design unconventional, more original and dynamic ideas should be used to make the designed business cards different from ordinary traditional business cards. Although the expression techniques of business card design vary depending on the industry, angle of appeal, or customers; however, the materials that make up the picture are generally certain. These materials are important elements of business card design, called the [component elements] of business card design. 1. The components of the shape include: illustrations (iconic or decorative patterns), logos (marks in the form of patterns or text), trade names (standard fonts of the goods, also called synthetic text or trademark text), decorative frames and shading. (Beautify the layout and highlight the theme) 2. The text components are: company name (including the company's full name in Chinese and English and business projects) slogan (a complete short sentence that expresses the corporate style) person's name (professional title and name in Chinese and English) contact information ( Chinese and English addresses, telephone numbers, mobile phones, pagers, fax numbers) 3. Other related elements: color (the combination of hue, brightness, and chroma), arrangement (the overall arrangement of text and patterns), these are the constituent elements of business card design, and each Have different missions and functions. If the power of these materials is dispersed and acted alone, they will not be able to exert full effect; therefore, how to maintain the connection between these constituent elements and play a unified communication role is an important work of arrangement. The work of arrangement can be said to be the composition of the elements. Visually unified design; but relying solely on the sense of beauty, arranging the constituent elements is meaningless arrangement. The real purpose of arrangement is to be able to beautify the layout and give functional visual organization.
