EU Trademark Registration Procedure

The basic steps of the EU trademark registration procedure are as follows:

The applicant applies to the European Union Trademark Office or the European Union Member State Trademark Office;

The European Union Trademark Office will apply Notify the trademark authorities of each member country to conduct trademark review in each country;

After passing the review, a three-month announcement will be made. During this period, third parties can raise various objections;

If no third party raises objections, the applied trademark will be approved for registration within one year.

Before submitting an application, the applicant or company needs to provide the following materials:

Applicant’s power of attorney, copy of ID card;

Name of applicant or company and address in Chinese and English;

The international classification of goods or services to be applied for and the list of designated goods or services, etc.;

Copy of business license;

Trademark pattern.
