Most of the existing tea varieties in Changde City are the best varieties in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. After years of development, Changde tea has a strong industrial foundation. The tea planting area reaches 210,000 acres, and there are more than 700 tea processing companies, with sufficient fresh leaf processing capabilities. At present, only the three key tea production counties of Shimen, Taoyuan and Lixian in the city have 33 registered tea trademark brands. Shimen County is currently the only "Hometown of Chinese Famous Tea" in Hunan Province and the country. Its famous teas, such as Shimen Yinfeng, have won gold medals in national and international tea competitions more than 40 times. In addition, Taoyuan County's "Wild Tea King", Li County's "Shuang Shang Green Ya", and Taoyuan County's "Ziyi Brand Special Fu Brick" have also won many awards.
