Baishui Dukang’s apology is related to the verdict of the Huimin District People’s Court of Hohhot City on March 25 this year against Zhang Hongjun, chairman of Shaanxi Dukang Liquor Group, in the case of damaging business reputation. The verdict pointed out that Zhang Hongjun had instigated others to spread eight factually false articles, including "The 100-billion-dollar mining rights case in northern Shaanxi that affects the whole country has been changed and the second largest unjust case in Shaanxi is taking shape" and was guilty of the crime of damaging commercial reputation.

Relevant judgment documents show that since 2011, Luoyang Dukang discovered that Baishui Dukang Company was not using the "Baishui Dukang" trademark in a standardized manner, so it sued Baishui Dukang on May 3, 2016 for infringing the exclusive rights of registered trademarks. company. The court found that in 1993, the trademark No. 152368 "Dukang·Dukang Brand" was facing renewal. The former State Administration for Industry and Commerce convened relevant departments and enterprises to coordinate, but Baishui County Dukang Distillery and the trademark No. 152368 "Dukang·Dukang Brand" The original owner of the trademark, Yichuan County Dukang Distillery, did not reach an agreement on the licensing of the trademark. At this point, the licensing relationship between the two parties has been terminated, and Baishui Dukang Company is no longer the exclusive owner of the Dukang trademark.
