At present, masks are mainly divided into three categories: medical masks (medical protective masks, medical surgical masks, disposable medical masks), labor protective masks, and daily protective masks. Only medical masks can be used for epidemic prevention. According to the relevant provisions of the Catalogue of Medical Devices, medical masks used for epidemic prevention belong to the national second-class medical devices.
The Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Medical Devices promulgated by the State Council stipulates that manufacturers engaged in the production of Class II medical devices need to obtain the Medical Device Production License and the Medical Device Registration Certificate. According to the requirements of "Regulations", engaging in medical device business activities should have business premises and storage conditions suitable for the scale and scope of business.
The process of obtaining a business license for selling masks is as follows:
1. Apply to the Industrial and Commercial Branch with your personal ID card and get the form in duplicate and other relevant forms.
2. Fill in the application form and related forms one by one as required.
3. Return the completed application form and related forms, personal ID card and completed permit to the individual and private economic units of the Industrial and Commercial Branch for review.
4. Urban personnel inside and outside the city need to apply for a business license from the industrial and commercial branch of origin, get the application form and related forms, and fill in and sign opinions in the administrative area of origin and the industrial and commercial branch of origin.
5. People outside the city need to provide personal ID card, temporary residence permit and family planning certificate to apply for business license.
6. If the registration is approved, a business license shall be issued.
