What is the process of online application for trademark registration?

Trademark agencies should apply for a "trademark digital certificate" before they can apply for a trademark online. Download and install the digital certificate driver and security application control l Only the trademark agency organization needs to carry out this step. Trademark agencies should log on to the homepage of online trademark application system, download digital certificate driver (usb-key driver) and security application control software, and install them according to the requirements of "usb-key installation guide". For details, please refer to "Guide to the Installation of Trademark Digital Certificates" and "Notes on the Use of Trademark Digital Certificates". 3. Log in to the online application system, select the book form and submit the online application for trademark. 1. Log in: the trademark agency organization selects "Login for Trademark Agency Organization", inserts the digital certificate, inputs the pin code, and clicks "Login" to enter the online application system for trademark. 2. Fill in the application information: after logging into the system, select the application form and fill in the application content as required. For details, please refer to "Requirements for Filling in Online Application for Trademark Registration" and "User Manual for Online Application for Trademark Registration". Tip: 1) Please read carefully the guidelines and filling requirements provided by the online application system and handle them as required. 2) Within the receiving time of this system on the same day, you can check the application information submitted by this trademark agency or trademark applicant on the same day through the "application inquiry" function. 3) For trademark agency organizations, before submitting the application, the application information can be "saved as page" and proofread offline. The application information can be modified by the "application query" function within the receiving time of the system on the same day. IV. Trademark agency organizations that pay trademark fees shall pay the trademark fees in full in advance to the Trademark Office before submitting the application. After successfully submitting an online application for trademark, if the Trademark Office requests to submit relevant paper application materials, it shall handle it according to the regulations. 1. If you submit an online application for trademark registration, you should log in to the system on the next working day of the online application, and search the application of the previous working day through the "application inquiry" function to check the submission status: 1) If it is marked as "download", it means that the application has been submitted successfully. 2) If the status is "updated", it means whether the application has been submitted successfully is to be confirmed. There are two reasons why the online application is still in the status of "update" on the next working day: first, some data formats of the application (such as the data format of trademark patterns) do not meet the requirements; Second, the online application system of the Trademark Office failed. If the online application system fails, the Trademark Office will issue a rolling announcement on the home page of the system, and the applicant or the trademark agency entrusted by it shall confirm whether the submission is successful after the Trademark Office issues a troubleshooting announcement. If some data formats of the application (such as the data format of the trademark pattern) do not meet the requirements, the applicant or the trademark agency organization entrusted by it shall contact the system administrator in time (contact information of the system administrator: efiling@saic.gov.cn). (II) After successfully submitting the online application for trademark registration, it shall be handled according to the following provisions: 1. During the current transition period, after successfully submitting the online application for trademark registration, a paper application form shall be submitted according to the following requirements. After the transition period, it is no longer necessary to submit a paper application. The date of the end of the transition period and the relevant provisions after the end of the transition period will be announced separately by the Trademark Office. 2. In the current transition period, the specific operation method of submitting a paper application: Step 1, download the electronic application: the next working day of online application, log in to this system, and download the electronic application (pdf format) submitted the previous working day through the "application inquiry" function. The electronic application is consistent with the online application information submitted on the previous working day, and the applicant or the trademark agency entrusted by it cannot make any changes. Step 2, prepare relevant paper application materials: print the electronic application form in pdf format downloaded in step 1 (it should be printed on both sides; Color pattern, should be printed in color), and then build official seal. Prepare an online application list for trademark registration. Step 3: Submit to the Trademark Office: Submit the paper application materials and list prepared in step 2 to the receiving department of the Trademark Office within 15 working days from the date of submitting the online application (excluding). The aforesaid time limit shall be calculated according to Article 1 of the Regulations for the Implementation of the Trademark Law. Because the online application and non-online application have different processing procedures in the Trademark Office, trademark agencies or applicants are required to submit the "paper application materials" of the above-mentioned online application and the "trademark application form and related application materials" that are not online application to the receiving department of the Trademark Office respectively. In violation of the above requirements, it shall be handled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Measures for the Trial Application of Trademark Online. 3.
