According to 41 provisions of the current "Trademark Law": "If a registered trademark changes the name, address or other registration information of the registrant, an application for change shall be submitted."

The trademark Change refers to changing the registrant, registered address or other matters of a registered trademark. If the applicant changes its name, address, agent, or deletes the designated goods, it may go through the change procedures with the Trademark Office. If you want to change the text or graphics of a registered trademark, you must resubmit a trademark registration application and it will be treated as a new trademark application and cannot be called a trademark change.

Change procedures

(1) Preparation of application documents

The application documents that should be submitted are:

Change application form (according to The specific content of the application must be selected in the form of a letter);

Copy of the applicant’s identity document (copy of business license, ID card, etc.);

Appointment letter submitted by the authorized agent 》, if handled directly in the acceptance hall, submit a copy of the identity card of the person in charge;

If you apply to change the name of the registrant, you must also submit a change certificate issued by the registration authority;

1. Fill in the application form one by one according to the requirements, and it must be typed or printed.

2. When going through the change procedures, a change application form should be filled in for each trademark (each registration number) and stamped with the seal of the applicant and/or the seal of the agent.

3. If the applicant goes directly to the trademark registration hall, in addition to submitting the application, he must also submit the applicant's business license and a copy (or a copy of the business license with the official seal of the unit) and the business license. A copy of the applicant's ID card; if the applicant is a natural person and applies for the application in person, only a copy of the applicant's ID card is required. If you entrust a trademark agency to handle the matter, in addition to submitting the application, you must also submit a trademark agency power of attorney and a copy of the applicant's business license or ID card.

4. If you apply to change the name of the registrant, you must also submit a change certificate issued by the registration authority. If the registrant is an enterprise, a change certificate from the registration department of the industrial and commercial administration authority shall be issued; if the registrant is a public institution, a change certificate from the registration department of the public institution shall be issued; if the registrant is a natural person, a change certificate shall be issued from the police station where the registered residence is located. The name before the change and the name after the change on the certificate should be consistent with the name before the change and the name of the applicant on the application form. If a foreign enterprise or foreigner only needs to change its Chinese translation name, a statement on the foreign enterprise or foreigner's application for changing its Chinese translation name should be provided.

5. For trademarks that have not yet been approved for registration, changes in the name of the applicant should also be handled in accordance with the above regulations.

6. If you apply for a change of address, you do not need to attach a change certificate, except for the case where a natural person changes his address across nationalities.

7. If a natural person changes his address across nationalities, he should submit proof that he has lived at the current address for more than one year when applying.

8. If the trademark applied for change is owned by ***, the following documents should also be submitted:

If the representative’s name or address changes, the changed representative’s name and address should be written in the applicant’s name and applicant’s address columns on the first page of the application, and the original name and address before the change should be written. (2) Submit application documents

2. If a trademark agency is entrusted to handle the application, the trademark agency will deliver the application documents to the Trademark Office.

(3) Pay the change fee

A change fee of 250 yuan should be paid for a change application.

If a trademark agency is entrusted to handle the application, the applicant shall pay the change fee and agency fee to the trademark agency. The change fee collected by the Trademark Office will be deducted from the advance payment of the trademark agency.
