What are the consequences of the Dewu app being cloned?

I believe that many young people like to use the "Dewu" app. Its advertising slogan "Cheap and fidelity" really makes young people excited. This is a good software for young people who like to pursue brands.

But some time ago, it was discovered that the Dewu app was cloned. What happened?

Some time ago, the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau’s Internal Tank Corps and the Hongkou Police successfully cracked the case of illegal manufacturing and sales of "claimed goods" registered trademarks, arrested 16 suspects, and seized counterfeit identification marks, identification certificates, More than 1.3 million pieces of shoe buckles, packaging boxes, tapes, etc. have been certified.

In December 2020, the Shanghai police received clues that someone had set up a server to create a fake webpage for the "Dewu" App.

The Municipal Public Security Bureau Network Team immediately launched an investigation with the Hongkou Police. It was found that there are indeed as many as 17 web pages that are very similar to the domain name of ?Get?App?. After verification, these are not official website pages, but are set up on overseas servers and registered by private individuals. Compared with the official pages, these "clone" pages are basically copied from the layout to the content. Except for the domain name which is slightly different from the official page, other details are almost all genuine.

After further investigation, the police found that these false web pages were registered by a suspect named Lin, kept by another suspect Wen, and updated irregularly as the official web pages changed.

The police conducted an in-depth investigation into Lin and found that he not only cloned a batch of fake web pages, but also cooperated with Xu, Zhou and others to produce and sell fake identity documents and certifications for the "Making a Difference" platform. Shoe buckles, packaging boxes, tapes, etc. are commonly known as "shoe certificates" and "four sets".

Regular anti-counterfeiting? Four-piece set? Paired with certified sports shoes, one shoe for one size. Consumers can use the "Dewu" App to scan the QR code on the certification certificate and then view the official certification information of the sneakers, which is equivalent to the "ID card" of the shoes.

Nowadays, not only are you worried about buying fake shoes, but you may also use fake ones.
