First, Xiazhuang specialty "Taishan Jiding" ginger
Xiazhuang ginger has a long history of cultivation, which has been recorded for more than 5 years according to historical records. It was in the Ming Dynasty in 1468 that the ancestors of Su and Chen introduced ginger seeds from other places. After years of cultivation and planting by later generations, it has continued to this day. Especially in recent decades, later generations have adopted scientific planting, scientific fertilization, scientific watering, delayed harvesting of ginger in greenhouse and other methods, making Xiazhuang's ginger famous for its large piece, tender meat, thin skin and little fiber. Xiazhuang ginger is spicy, fragrant, rich in nutrition, easy to store and so on. It has the functions of nourishing, heatstroke prevention, dispelling cold and fitness for human body. It is an essential broad-spectrum condiment for people, and its edible and medicinal value is high. It is a treasure, which can be eaten raw, fried and pickled, and can also be processed into ginger juice, ginger wine, ginger oil, dried ginger, ginger powder, etc. Ginger, onion and garlic are called "three treasures in the kitchen". It is said that during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, when Liu Yong was the prime minister of the dynasty, he paid tribute to the emperor one year and sent people to Xiazhuang to buy ginger. Therefore, Xiazhuang ginger gained great fame. Ginger is suitable for planting in fields with soft and fertile soil, and the plot should be flat to ensure no water accumulation during watering and rainy season. Driven by Xiazhuang, neighboring villages have also developed one after another. At present, the ginger in Anlinzhan Town has grown to more than 15, mu and exported to Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Russia and other countries. The annual export volume is about 3 tons. Therefore, in 1987, it was registered in the State Administration for Industry and Commerce with the brand trademark of "Taishan Jiding"; In 1989, it was awarded the gold medal in the National Agricultural and Sideline Products Expo held in Shenyang. Greatly improved the popularity of ginger products and promoted the local economic development.
2. The ancient Sophora japonica in Xiazhuang
is located in the west of Xiazhuang. According to the record of Feicheng County, the tree is embedded in a stone weir, which is 15 years old, with a crown of 8.65 meters high and a rotten trunk, with a diameter of about .8 meters, a crown of 9 meters from east to west and 6.9 meters from north to south.
the original crown has disappeared. Now the tree stands in mid-air like a piece of residual rotten wood, and now the crown is born from the upper part of the curved bark, which is divided into three main branches, southeast, southwest and northwest-northwest. The whole branch fork is curved like a dragon, and the branches are lush.
The year when this tree was planted has not been tested. According to legend, "there was Sophora japonica before Xiazhuang Street."
Third, the legend of Fat Pig Mountain
Once upon a time, there was a southern barbarian who was good at geomantic omen and came to Fat Pig Mountain one day (named after the mountain looked like a fat pig). I walked around the mountain three times and said with a smile, this is a treasure land, and I will set the pillars in the future. He wedged a stake in front of the mountain and said, when I stamp my foot behind the mountain, the stake will pop up automatically. At that time, there was a young man named Kang in Xiazhuang who was herding cattle. He listened clearly and saw it really, and watched it straight from the side. After wedging the pile, the barbarian went to the back of the mountain, stamped his feet at the pig's tail and walked to the front of the mountain. The boy surnamed Kang watched the stake pop up, ran over and wedged it immediately. The barbarian came over and saw that the stake did not move, which was very strange. Repeat it three times, all the same. The barbarian said to himself, is it wrong? Then leave. The boy surnamed Kang saw it in his eyes, kept it in his heart, and marked it at the stake. His mother died a few years later, and the burial site was chosen here. It's a pity that people can't "eat food for pigs" since ancient times, and there is endless chaff under the mouth of a fat pig. Originally, teenagers were straightforward, good at giving music, respecting the elderly and living in harmony with their neighbors. On the day of the funeral, the grave was just buried. Suddenly, there was a strong wind and a heavy rain. A huge stone rolled down from the mountain and just covered the grave. The pigs could not eat the bran. Later, when the boy surnamed Kang grew up, he became an official in the Ministry of Rites, and he did not forget his hometown. He built an iron bridge in Xiaohongshan, Xiazhuangnan (which is still intact). Before liberation, there was Kangjialin in front of the Pig Mountain, which was surrounded by stone walls. Unfortunately, the stone walls and big stones were destroyed in the 195s.
Fourth, the legend of waiting on the edge of the town
According to legend, in the post-Han period, a businessman in the southern border had an argument with a bully because of unfair trading, and accidentally injured the bully to death. After the incident, the local government arrested the businessman and sent him to the waiting office on the edge of the town for trial and conviction. After being tried by the waiting office on the edge of the town, it was learned that the bully had been rampant in the village for many years, doing evil, and the people were very angry and resentful. I also learned that the businessman's ancestral home was in Fengfu County, Shandong Province (now Feicheng), and he had been doing business in the south for many years. Hou had a brainwave at the edge of the town and decided to try to send the businessman back to his hometown in Fengfu County. Above the lobby, he announced loudly: the businessman was sent to Ershan (Heifengkou) in Jiuyi (jiusan) in Fengfu County, Shandong Province, where the wolf, the tiger and the leopard had their heads shaved off for 5 miles at the Heifengkou, and the small red mountain was towering high, close to the iron bridge. When it rained on a cloudy day, the faucet of the mill squeaked and told him to go and not return, and immediately executed it. Later, the businessman was safely escorted back to his hometown. Why did Hou kindly send people to send businessmen to their hometown? It turns out that the town side Hou is also a native of Fengfu County. In his early years, he fought with the army in the south and fought in the north. Later, because of his outstanding military achievements, he was named the town-side Hou by the emperor at the southern border. This legend has spread to this day and is known to all ages.
V. The Legend of Jiuxian Mountain
Jiuxian Mountain is located in the south of Xiazhuang in Feicheng, adjacent to Wanglu Mountain in Anjiazhuang in the east and Sunboyi Mountain in the west. It is 2.3 kilometers long from east to west and 1.2 kilometers wide from north to south. The main peak is 384 meters above sea level. The mountain is steep and there are many strange stones, such as toad stone, scorpion stone and tortoise stone. Among them, the largest Tongtian Valley is more than 1 meters wide, winding from the bottom of the mountain to the top of the mountain. In rainy season, this valley rumbles from time to time, and the water keeps flowing, and it flows into Jiuxian Lake at the foot of the mountain and into Wanglu Lake through the confluence of villages. There are more than 1 kinds of ancient trees on the mountain, which are covered with pines and cypresses from the mountainside to the top of the mountain, and are lush and gloomy, among which locust trees, elms and persimmon trees can be seen everywhere; Chinese herbal medicines such as Lycium barbarum, Bupleurum chinense, wild chrysanthemum, scorpion, Parthenocissus tricuspidata and Platycodon grandiflorum are all over Goubo, and there are wild animals such as weasels, pheasants, mountain rabbits, pigeons and water ducks. There is a clear water pool on Jiuxian Mountain. The water is clear and the bottom can be seen. It is said that the Queen Mother passed by here. When she saw this pool, she fell in love with it and bathed in it. Therefore, the pool was named after Wangmu Pond. According to another legend, this mountain is the same as Mount Tai, and it grows better than Mount Tai. Grandma Taishan is very angry when she sees this. Stamped one foot at the top of the mountain one by one, and whipped 71 lashes with a mountain whip, forming 71 ravines on the mountain, and the mountain never grew again. It is also said that the toad stone in the mountain is transformed by the old toad circle. This stone is like a toad, about 4 meters high, about 8 meters long and about 5.5 meters wide. If you look up to the east, if you plead guilty to heaven, you will be saved from death. Toad Ishihara, an old toad, belongs to the God of heaven. Because he teased the goddess in heaven and committed a dogma, he angered the Jade Emperor. After calling the heavenly soldiers to take responsibility, he was demoted to Jiuxian Mountain for the people. Who knows that after the lower bound, Toad Lao Yuan did not feel at ease to practice, and his nature did not change. He ran wild in the countryside, bullying good women and doing many evils. When the Jade Emperor learned about it, he sent the king of Tota, Li Jing, to arrest him. When the king of Tota saw Toad Lao Yuan, he read out his charges, hit him on the top with Tota and executed him at the foot of Jiuxian Mountain, forming a toad-shaped boulder.
