The development history of China Record Corporation

On May 29, 1949, the Shanghai Military Control Commission took over the Greater China Record Factory, marking the beginning of the new China's record industry.

In 1949, Greater China Records was transferred to the Central Broadcasting Service.

In 1950, the Great China Record Factory was renamed People's Record Factory.

In 1955, People's Record Factory changed its name to China Record Factory and began to use the Tiananmen pattern trademark to publish the "China Record" trademark.

On June 17, 1958, China Record Company was officially established.

In 1960, the Record Publishing Department of China Record Company was renamed Shanghai Branch of China Record Company.

In November 1963, China Record Distribution Company was established.

In 1964, the Guangzhou branch of China Record Company was established.

In 1968, Premier Zhou Enlai gave instructions to establish two record factories in Beijing and Chengdu.

On November 15, 1982, China Record Company, the country’s first large-scale and group-managed audio-visual publishing unit, was established. It was the original editorial and publishing organization of China Record Society, China Record Factory, and China Record Distribution The companies are all owned by China Record Company.

In 1983, the Shanghai Branch, Guangzhou Branch and Chengdu Branch of China Record Company were established.

In 1984, the Beijing branch of China Record Company was established.

In 1985, China Record Company was renamed China Record Corporation.

In September 1987, Audiovisual World Magazine was established.

In August 1988, Beijing Record Factory was placed under the China Record Corporation; in November, China Record Shenzhen Company was established.

In 1989, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of China's record publishing industry, the first "China Record Golden Disc Award" award ceremony was held.

In 1991, Shanghai United Optical Disc Co., Ltd. was established.

In January 1999, Zhongsheng was delinked from the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television and placed under the management of the Central Large Enterprises Working Committee.

In 2003, it was placed under the management of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.

In February 2008, Zhongshang was merged into China Chengtong Holding Group Co., Ltd.

In November 2011, China Drama Publishing House was officially merged into Zhongsheng; in December, the National Music Industry Base Zhongsheng Park was officially launched.

In March 2013, Zhongsheng was merged into China Hualu Group Co., Ltd.

In January 2008, with the approval of the State Council, China Record Corporation merged into China Chengtong Holding Group Co., Ltd. and became its wholly-owned subsidiary.
