Pinellia ternata planting area in the township is more than 3, mu, annual sales income reaches 54.8 million yuan, and net income per mu reaches 1, yuan. The organizing committee of China specialty promotion and publicity activities named Xihe as "the hometown of Pinellia ternata in China" and was approved by the General Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision and Inspection. The produced Pinellia ternata is included in the protection scope of national geographical indication products, and Erlangba is an important base of the "hometown of Pinellia ternata" in China, and counties and townships are starting to apply for "Jiuyan Spring" brand geographical indication trademark. The large-scale production of agricultural characteristic industries gave birth to some private enterprises, Longfei Chinese herbal medicine marketing company, which grew up in this environment.

(3) Famous agricultural specialties: pepper and walnut. There are abundant surface runoff in the township, especially in Hengling Mountain and Jiuyan Spring, which are full of magical myths and legends. They are the birthplace of Yangshui River and one of the tourist attractions in Shili Township. The mountains are steep, the pines and cypresses are evergreen all the year round, and the trees are fragrant in spring, the water is singing and the flowers are singing. The groundwater resources are abundant and the water quality is good. The groundwater in Erlang River Basin was developed and utilized by the county and introduced into the urban area, which ensured the drinking water problem of more than 3, people in the county.

The highest mountain in the township belongs to the national defense forest area, where Japanese larch and Chinese pine are lush, and Panlong Cave in the middle of the mountain is said to be the place where Erlang God cut the rough, with green moss and clear mountain springs. It is another tourist attraction in Shili.
