In 1926, due to the political center moving south, with the consent of the Le family, it was established by the 13th generation The successor, Le Duzhou, founded it himself. The formula, technology and processing standards are exactly the same as those of Beijing Tongrentang. The management personnel are all dispatched from Beijing. The historical reasons for the existence of Darentang, Hongjitang and Hongrentang:
In the late Qing Dynasty, the Lejia family multiplied into four branches, namely Lemengfan, Lezhongfan and Leshu. There are four brothers, Fan and Lejifan.
Tongrentang is jointly managed by these four branches, and it is stipulated that each branch will receive 10,000 taels of silver from Tongrentang every year.
In addition, they are also allowed to consign and sell their own pills, powders, ointments, elixirs and other medicines in Tongrentang.
At that time, most of the employees in the Tongrentang store were either relatives or friends, so the employees were also divided into factions. They were either people from Le Mengfan, people from Le Zhongfan, or people from Le Shufan. He is the kind of person who enjoys music.
When they sell medicines to customers, they all compete to introduce the medicines consigned by their dependents to customers who come into the store to buy medicines.
This consignment system harms Tong Ren Tang’s public interests, causes chaos in the store, and brings great trouble to Tong Ren Tang’s operation and management.
Later, representatives of the four Lejia families met and agreed to cancel the consignment system and allow each branch to open stores outside. The signs of "Lejia Old Shop" can be used, but "Tong Ren Tang" cannot be used. "Store name.
Since then, each branch has opened drug stores outside.
In the 10th year of the Republic of China (1921), Le Mengfan opened Lejia's old "Hongrentang" drugstore.
Later, Le Zhongfanzhi opened the old Lejia "Hongjitang" drugstore, and Leji Fanzhi opened the old Lejia "Darentang" drugstore
