The Ten Thousand Buddha Pagoda, located in Xixin Temple, Sheyang River Scenic Area, Sheyang City, Yancheng City, is a landmark building of the temple and a newly-built stupa in contemporary times. The octagonal tower has nine floors and the underground palace has two floors, with a height of 68 meters. Each floor of the tower is dedicated to 10,000 Buddha statues, hence the name Ten Thousand Buddha Pagoda.

Xixin Temple, formerly known as Xixin Temple, is located on the bank of the Yellow Sea and the Sheyang River. The temple not only has the pattern of Buddhist temples in Han Dynasty, but also has the simple and elegant features of Jianghuai architecture. It was built in Song Xiaozong and was restored in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. After the war, only the broken walls were left.

Xixin Temple was rebuilt in 1993, and now it has built the Heavenly King Hall, Great Compassion Building, Mountain Gate, Ursa Major Hall, Buddhist Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall, Guanzi Garden, Open-air Giant Buddha, Guest Hall, Ancestral Hall, Fahua Hall, Wei Tuo Hall, Fahua Baotan and Prince Garden. Wanfo Pagoda is a four-phase construction project, which was completed in June165438+1October 65438+June 2007.
