Therefore, all the people in the world respect him as a thousand-year-old monk. Later, Master Bao Zhang went to Wutai Mountain to pay homage to Manjusri Bodhisattva.
By the time of the Three Kingdoms, Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, Wuhu had entered China, and wars were frequent, so Monk Baozhang stayed in the temple to open an altar and spread the word to all sentient beings. Although there are wars outside, the morning bells and evening drums in the mountains have not stopped. By 657 AD, Tang Gaozong was four years old in the second year of Xianqing, and the chitose monk was 172 years old.
It is said that on the seventh day of July this year, monk Baozhang suddenly said a poem to two disciples, Ruguang and Huiyun: "There was no life and death, but now it means life and death. I have to get over it. He came here again. " Monk Bao Zhang means that he thought there was no life and death, but today he will show life and death, and he will be reincarnated in the next life and come to this world again. Say that finish and close your eyes. But after seven days, I woke up again and told the disciples, "After I die, you will build a tower here to support you. In the future, someone will come to welcome my bones back to China. I hope you will pay close attention and don't refuse! " Say it and die.
In this way, Monk Baozhang lived for 172 years, from the Spring and Autumn Period to the Tang Dynasty. No one can surpass him!
