Inheritance mode of trademark patent copyright: limited to the property rights in trademarks, patents and copyrights, and inherited in the order of bequest agreement, will and legal inheritance. Article 14 of the Regulations for the Implementation of the Copyright Law of People's Republic of China (PRC)

After the death of one of the co-authors, if no one inherits or bequeathes the rights stipulated in Items 5 to 17 of Paragraph 1 of Article 10 of the Copyright Law, the other co-authors shall enjoy them.

Article 15

After the death of the author, the right of signature, modification and protection of the integrity of the work in his copyright shall be protected by the author's successor or legatee.

If the copyright has neither inheritance nor bequest, its right of authorship, amendment and protection of the integrity of the work shall be protected by the copyright administrative department.

Where the exclusive right to use a registered trademark is transferred for reasons other than inheritance, the party accepting the exclusive right to use a registered trademark shall go through the formalities for the transfer of the exclusive right to use a registered trademark at the Trademark Office with relevant supporting documents or legal documents.
