According to the conveying direction of materials, ordinary scraper conveyors can be divided into horizontal, inclined and mixed types. The inclination angle of the scraper conveyor usually does not exceed 35℃, because with the increase of the inclination angle, its productivity will be greatly reduced. Due to the large resistance of scraper conveyor in conveying materials, its length is generally limited to less than 80 meters due to the influence of chain strength.
Type of scraper conveyor:
Due to the different use conditions, space and coal seam thickness, the requirements for conveying capacity and laying length are also different, so there are many kinds of scraper conveyors produced and used at home and abroad.
(1) According to the arrangement structure of the middle trough, there are two kinds of overlapping and parallel troughs, and the overlapping middle trough is divided into two types: open bottom and back cover.
(2) According to the structure of traction chain, there are three types: chip sleeve chain, detachable die forging chain and welded circular chain. At present, scraper chains made of circular chains are generally used.
(3) According to the number and arrangement of chains, there are single chain, bilateral chain, double middle chain and triple chain.
(4) According to the type of transmission power, there are electric transmission (motor) and hydraulic transmission.
(5) According to the number and arrangement of motor drives, there are two kinds of single motor drives and double motor drives, and the arrangement of double motor drives is divided into parallel (parallel), vertical and composite.
(6) According to the power of the driving motor, there are light, medium, heavy and super heavy.
The advantages of scraper conveyor are:
(1) Compared with the belt conveyor, the scraper conveyor does not need to install many ball bearings and expensive adhesive tapes, and has the advantages of simple structure, light weight and small volume, and is convenient to manufacture, install, use and maintain.
(2) Because the machine slot is sealed, the material will not fly, so the material loss is less and the working conditions of workers are good.
(3) Compared with other types of conveyors with the same conveying capacity, the cross section of the machine slot is small and the floor space is small. Like a belt conveyor, it can be fed at multiple points and discharged at multiple points (preferably at one point), and there is no need for huge discharging equipment such as a discharging trolley.
(4) Because the machine trough of this conveyor is a closed box with high rigidity, there is no need to support the frame of the machine trough. When the span is large, just build a simple supporting platform.
(5) Compared with screw conveyor, especially pneumatic conveying device, the power consumption is less.
Because of the above advantages, scraper conveyor is widely used to transport powdery, granular and massive materials in China's feed industry. Besides horizontal transportation, inclined transportation and vertical transportation can also be carried out. Suitable for high-speed and long-distance transportation.
The disadvantages of scraper conveyor are that materials are easy to be crushed or compacted into blocks during transportation, the machine groove and scraper wear quickly and consume a lot of electricity. Therefore, the transport length of scraper conveyor should not exceed 50 ~ 60m, and the transport capacity should not be greater than150 ~ 200t/h. ..
