According to the relevant procedures of the Trademark Office, you will receive an acceptance notice from the Trademark Office approximately 3 months after submitting your trademark application. If the application passes the substantive examination in about 9 months, a preliminary review announcement will be issued. If the application fails to pass the substantive examination, a rejection notice will be issued. A rejection review can be filed within 15 days from the date of receipt of the rejection notice. The initial announcement period is 3 months. This 3-month period is called the objection period. Others can object to your trademark. If there is no objection during the objection period, the registration certificate will be received within 40 days. If anyone objects, the objection defense will be conducted within 30 days from the date of receipt of the objection defense notice.
