Marks must be placed in appropriate positions in each volume of the work, including the word (1) copyright or its abbreviation or its symbol; (2) The year of first publication; Name of the actual copyright owner.
The universal copyright convention Convention, the Rome Convention and the Recording Convention all agree to require this mark as a condition for copyright protection of published works, but according to the universal copyright convention, the first item of the mark should always be the copyright mark.
