Zongshen Industrial Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 1992. It has 30 wholly-owned or holding subsidiaries, including two listed companies ("Zongshen Power" is listed on the domestic A-share market, Stock code: 001696; "Zongshen Paim" is listed in Toronto, Canada, stock code: ZPP). The Zongshen trademark has been recognized as a well-known trademark in China by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, the "Zongshen" brand motorcycle has been awarded the title of "China Famous Brand Product", and the three major series of Zongshen motorcycle engines and Zongshen general machinery have been qualified as national inspection-free products. Zongshen has also entered the list of "Export Brands with Key Cultivation and Development" and "The Most Competitive Brands" issued by the Ministry of Commerce. In the evaluation of China's most valuable brands in 2007, jointly evaluated by R&F Global Ranking Information Group and Beijing Famous Brand Assets Appraisal Co., Ltd., the "Zongshen" brand value reached 5.918 billion yuan. Zongshen Group also received the "AAAA Standardization Good Conduct Certificate" issued by the National Standards Committee. Zongshen Group (formerly known as Zongshen Technology Company) has successively won the title of "Excellent Private Enterprise" in Sichuan Province (1994), the Top 500 Private Enterprises in China (1995), the Top 100 National Private Technology Enterprises (1997), and the 1999 Large Scale Enterprise. Ranked 11th among the top 500 private enterprises, Chongqing’s “Contract-abiding and Promise-keeping Enterprise”, National Advanced Township Enterprise in Export Earning Foreign Exchange (2001), Chongqing’s Honest Private Enterprise and other honors.
