In 1927, in Fremont, Michigan, USA, out of love for his own and other people’s babies, Fremont Daniel Gerber, owner of the Remont Canning Company, and his wife Dorothy Gerber created the [Gerber] brand.

At that time, under the advice of a pediatrician, Dorothy began to make hand-filtered food for her 7-month-old daughter Sally. In this way, the brand [Garbo] was born. By 1928, Garbo had five products on the market: beef and vegetable soup, strained peas, prunes, carrots and spinach.
