History:

In 1927, in Fremont, Michigan, USA, out of love for his own and other people’s babies, Fremont Daniel Gerber, owner of the Remont Canning Company, and his wife Dorothy Gerber created the [Gerber] brand.

At that time, under the advice of a pediatrician, Dorothy began to make hand-filtered food for her 7-month-old daughter Sally. In this way, the brand [Garbo] was born. By 1928, Garbo had five products on the market: beef and vegetable soup, strained peas, prunes, carrots and spinach. Six months later, Garbo infant food began to be sold nationwide in the United States.

Since the establishment of the brand, Jiabao has always insisted on taking babies as the center. Through continuous innovation and sincere care, it promotes the healthy growth and development of infants and young children, and helps them form good eating habits as early as possible. The brand eventually became a leader in infant and toddler food, with more than 190 products sold in 80 countries and a trademark translated into 16 languages.

In 2007, Garbo became a member of the Nestlé family.
