The children on the first floor of Xujiahui Academy are divided into four sections: junior children's section, children's section, primary school section and middle school section, which continues the investment of Xuhui District Library in children's reading for more than 20 years. The service area on the second floor integrates borrowing and lending, and the collection covers all 22 categories specified in China Library Classification, among which retro Shanghai style stained glass is decorated.

On the third floor, you can see a special literature area composed of large-scale complete series of books such as Treasure of Town Hall, Yongle Grand Ceremony, Sikuquanshu and various local chronicles. A full set of copies of famous newspapers and magazines in Shanghai from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China can also be found here.
