Huangjiang Town is located in the southeast of Dongguan, with the town center at 23 02 ′ north latitude and113 82 ′ east longitude. It is adjacent to Zhangmutou Town in the east, state-owned Zhangmutou Forest Farm in the southeast, Tangxia Town in the south, bright farm in the southwest, and Dalang Town and Changping Town across the sea in the west. The total area of the town is 92.86 square kilometers.
Huangjiang Town belongs to the hilly and mountainous area in the south of Dongguan, with high terrain in the southwest and low terrain in the northeast. This is a semi-mountainous area dominated by low mountains and terraces. The climate belongs to subtropical monsoon climate.
