Drilling rigs can be divided into core drilling rigs, oil drilling rigs, hydro-geological survey and water well drilling rigs, engineering geological exploration drilling rigs, tunnel drilling rigs and engineering construction drilling rigs. Drilling rigs can be divided into four categories according to drilling methods: (1) impact rigs: wire rope impact rigs and drill pipe impact rigs. (2) Rotary drilling rig: vertical drilling rig-hand-propelled drilling rig, spiral differential drilling rig and hydraulic drilling rig; Rotary table-wire rope plus decompression, hydraulic cylinder plus decompression drill; Mobile gyrator-full hydraulic power head and mechanical power head drilling rig. (3) Vibration drilling rig. (4) Composite drilling rig: a drilling rig with different combinations of vibration, impact, rotation and static pressure functions.
