Wuling tea-smashing
Wuling tea-smashing has a long history in Dongting Lake area. According to legend, more than 2, years ago, Ma Yuan led his troops to the south and was stationed in Sima Cuo City (now Maoling Township, the head of Dingcheng District). There was a plague in the military camp, and a fairy presented a prescription. The prescription said, "Sesame, mung bean, ginger, tea, fried rice, etc. were put into a rolling bowl and mashed with catalpa Jiang Mu. After taking it, the disease recovered and was introduced to the people. Leicha, with the functions of promoting fluid production to quench thirst, clearing away heat and toxic materials, diminishing inflammation and removing diseases, is an excellent drink for people in Yuanshui River Basin. When drinking, it is called "taking tea" with fried noodles with local characteristics and specially made jar dishes. There are at least a dozen kinds of tea, and as many as 48 kinds.
Wuling liquor
Wuling liquor, one of the 17 famous liquors in China, one of the three famous liquors with maotai flavor, is a well-known trademark brand in China and the only famous China liquor in Hunan province. Wuling Liquor with unique style and elegant sauce flavor won the title of China Famous Liquor and the National Quality Gold Award together with Maotai and LU ZHOU LAO JIAO CO.,LTD at the Fifth National Appraisal Reception in 1989.
Wuling Citrus
Danzhou Township in Wuling District is the main citrus producing township. The main varieties of Wuling Citrus are seedless tangerine and ponkan, and their products are spread to Hunan, Guizhou, Hubei, Jiangxi, Zhejiang and other places. More than ten famous and excellent varieties, such as hybrid orange series, super early-maturing tangerine series and ponkan series, have been widely promoted and planted.
