According to the declaration of the relevant municipal people's government, reviewed and recommended by the construction departments of provinces, autonomous regions and the municipal gardens bureau, and according to the provisions of the Measures for the Administration of National Key Parks (Trial) (Cheng Jian [2006] No.67), on September 12, 2008, it was decided to approve 26 parks such as Congtai Park in Handan City as the second batch of national key parks. The national key parks to be approved shall, in accordance with the relevant regulations and requirements, formulate protection and utilization plans, delimit the scope of protection, build control zones, and formulate effective protection measures for their unique natural landscapes or humanistic landscapes with special historical and cultural values. The construction departments of the relevant provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government should strengthen leadership, regularly inspect and supervise national key parks, and earnestly do a good job in the protection and management of national key parks.
