A trademark agent refers to a professional who meets the requirements stipulated in the Measures for the Administration of Trademark Agents, participates in the qualification examination of trademark agents, is granted the qualification by the Trademark Office, and issues the Trademark Agent Qualification Certificate, and is engaged in trademark agency affairs in a trademark agency organization designated and recognized by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.
1. The main work of a trademark agent is as follows:
1. Responsible for the daily consultation and agency of the company's trademark business;
2. Understand customers' needs, answer customers' questions about trademark application, draft written documents, put forward professional agency plans and independently represent trademark cases;
3. Be responsible for contacting and following up with customers and providing them with intellectual property protection schemes and legal advice;
4. independently handle all intellectual property protection work undertaken, and supervise and manage the progress and quality of the case;
5. Acting as an agent for the trademark applicant to inquire about the trademark before the registration application to determine whether the trademark can be registered, and acting as an agent for the trademark owner to inquire about the unregistered trademark before it enters the market to determine whether the trademark infringes on the prior trademark rights of others;
6. Acting as an agent for renewal of registration, transfer of registration, filing of licensing contract, change of registrant's name or address, replacement of registration certificate and other related matters;
7. Acting as an agent for trademark registration, trademark rejection review, trademark objection, objection defense, objection review, trademark dispute, dispute defense, improper trademark registration or cancellation after three years' non-use, cancellation defense and other legal affairs related to trademark confirmation procedures;
8. Acting for China applicants to handle international trademark registration abroad and all kinds of legal affairs in the process of applying for registration;
9. Acting as an agent for customs filing of trademark rights;
1. Acting to solve trademark infringement disputes, trademark infringement complaints and other legal affairs;
11. Acting as an agent for foreign applicants to apply for trademark registration and other trademark legal affairs in China;
12. Complete other tasks assigned by the leaders.
2. The post requirements of trademark agent are as follows:
1. University degree or above, major in law, English and other related fields;
2. Strong legal skills, passing the judicial examination and being able to apply for an internship certificate are preferred;
3. Skillful use of office software such as computers and strong sense of responsibility;
4. Be rigorous in thinking and serious in doing things;
5. Be enthusiastic and have team spirit;
6. Cheerful personality, strong communication skills and good writing organization skills;
