The method to identify the authenticity of Apple mobile phone batteries is as follows:
1. First analyze from the appearance. There are words on both sides of the original iPhone battery. The font color is not pure white, but white with light blue. One side has the factory serial number and QR code of the battery, which are all spray-painted using inkjet coding technology. The writing is clear and obvious spray points can be seen. The factory serial number and QR code of non-original batteries are printed similar to a seal and can be easily erased with your finger or eraser.
2. In addition, there is a sponge cushion pad on the back of the cable interface of the original battery to prevent the interface from loosening due to poor contact with the motherboard. Some non-original batteries also have original sponge cushions, such as high-imitation batteries. Only after disassembly can you see obvious traces of artificial welding on the battery's PCB board and battery cables. But if there is no sponge cushion, it must be non-original.
3. Comparing the front of the battery, you can easily tell the difference between original and non-original. The Apple logo on the original battery will be a little higher, and below it is the 60950 battery certification standard. This standard includes certification countries, certification projects, and testing standards. Non-original batteries have not been certified, so there are no certification standards. In addition, the original batteries use colloidal electrolytes, so the battery will feel soft when you pinch or break it with a little force. This is normal. On the contrary, it is abnormal if the battery feels hard and has no deformation when you pinch or break it.
4. Let’s further differentiate from the battery disassembly. The one on the left is an original battery, and its PCB is from UMT (Taiwan Xinxing Electronics), which is clearly marked, and the fonts are complete and neat. However, the PCB board of the non-original battery on the right is I believe you can see the problem after comparing the markings. And from the artificial markings on the chip, it can be seen that it is an assembled circuit and not an original one. In addition, after disassembling some non-original batteries, you can even see that the components on the PCB board are different from the original ones, with obvious welding marks. The cables of non-original batteries will feel softer when held, while the cables of original batteries are relatively hard and difficult to deform.
5. Another thing is to look at the production date of the battery. For example: iPhone5S batteries were basically produced around 2013 or 2014, while those in 2016 were basically imitation batteries or assembled batteries. In the same way, other models can also choose this identification method to make a simple preliminary judgment. There is a difference of about 1 year between the battery production age and the machine's launch. You can refer to this interpretation of 5S to estimate. If the difference is too long, it is a non-original battery. Next The red marked one on the right side of the picture is a 5S non-original battery.
