Subject of Trademark Objection The subject who objects to the ongoing announcement can be anyone, a trademark registrant, a non-trademark registrant, an enterprise, an institution, an individual, a legal person or an unincorporated person. Handling methods of trademark objection The applicant may file an application for objection with the Trademark Office through the following channels: (1) Entrust a trademark agency registered in the Trademark Office to handle it; (2) The applicant directly handles it: 1. Directly in the registration hall of the Trademark Office; 2. Submit by mail or other courier companies. Trademark objection application materials (1) trademark objection application; (2) Clarify the reasons, facts and legal basis of the objection, and attach relevant evidential materials; (3) A copy of the announcement on the preliminary examination and approval of the objected trademark; (4) A copy of the subject qualification certificate confirmed by the dissenter's seal or signature; (5) The trademark objection officer fee is 500 yuan RMB for each category. Consequences of Trademark Objection What happens when we raise trademark objections? The Trademark Office will first listen to the facts and reasons stated by both the objector and the objector, and then, after a period of investigation and verification, make a decision on whether to approve the registration within 12 months after the expiration of the announcement, and notify the objector and the objector in writing.
