1. Conditions to be met by an individual as a trademark applicant
1. If a natural person needs to obtain the exclusive right to use a trademark for the goods he produces, manufactures, processes, selects or distributes or the services he provides, he shall apply to the Trademark Office for trademark registration.

2. Conditions to be met for a registered trademark
1. A trademark should have statutory constituent elements
Any visible sign, including words, graphics, letters, numbers, three-dimensional signs and color combinations, which can distinguish the goods of natural persons, legal persons or other organizations from those of others, and the combination of the above elements can be used as a trademark to apply for registration. Trademarks such as audio and smell that cannot be perceived by vision cannot be registered in China.
2. A trademark should have distinctive features
The distinctive features inherent in the logo itself, such as a trademark with novel conception and unique design, can be registered as a trademark with "second meaning" if the narrative mark that directly describes the characteristics of commodity quality obtains distinctive features after use and is easy to identify.
III. Materials to be submitted by an individual in registering a trademark
1. A copy of the applicant's identity card and the registration documents issued by the relevant administrative authorities. Passport holders need a copy of their passports.
2. Fill in the application for trademark registration (in a fixed form) and sign at the designated place.
3. Six black-and-white designs of trademarks, with clear designs and specifications ranging from 5x5cm to 1x1. If the color is specified, 6 pieces of colored pattern are handed in, and 1 piece of black and white pattern is attached.
4. Individual industrial and commercial households can apply for registered trademarks in the name of the Business License for Individual Industrial and Commercial Households.
5. The scope of goods and services that a natural person applies for trademark registration shall be limited to the business scope approved by his business license or relevant registration documents, or to the self-operated agricultural and sideline products.
