Main camera: CMOS size has been improved again, but it is discounted for daily use

P4 is fully equipped with 1/1.28-inch four Bayer RYYB CMOS (model or IMX7) with about 5 million effective pixels. This is the largest CMOS size among the mobile phones sold, which is about 8% more than the 1 million pixel CMOS of Xiaomi and Samsung. The size of a single pixel is 1.2μm, and it is 4-in-1 in daily shooting, and the equivalent size is about 2.4 μ m.. This is not only the same as the fusion size of Samsung S2 Ultra in daily shooting (12 million pixels), but also the same as the single pixel size of 1 inch CMOS with about 2 million pixels such as Sony RX1 series and Canon G7X/G5X.

P4 Pro+ uses the same "focus plane" as Mate 3 Pro as the super wide angle, and has a 1.54-inch CMOS (model or IMX68) with an equivalent focal length of 18mm. The ratio of this CMOS is 3:2, and the 4-in-1 ratio is 384×2592 in daily shooting, and the 16-in-1 ratio in low light achieves better 18P high-sensitivity image quality. The single pixel size after 16-in-1 is equivalent to 4.48μm, which is larger than APS-C CMOS with 24 million pixels/26 million pixels.

Although this "focus plane" supports super slow motion of 768FPS and super high sensitivity of ISO512, it does not have strong macro capability.
